I've ordered a mobile phone from them and had a real problem in returning it after I've changed my mind. You only have 7 days in which you can return it, and I feel as though they have made it hard for me to. At the end I still ended with a bill from the service provider. Terrible experience.

I took out 3 contracts from The Mobile Outlet, i had sent all the cashback claims on time via recorded delivery but unfortunately my claims were turned down and I received letters from them with different excuses like: i did not meet the Terms and Conditions, i did not send the original dispatch not which i had initially and the claim was not sent on time. I phoned them, wrote e-mails and also spoke to Trading Standards. I have now taken the matter further to Begbies Traynor, they said i will re ...

When i sent my bill to The Mobile Outlet in order to get my cash back they ignored me, i called them lot of time but every time same answer, we will give the cash back within a week, only one guy dealt the telephone query with different name. i spent lot of money to call them on 0870 one number. But now no answer, no money, and web site doesn't work.
But other companies also get involved ( orange, t-moblie, o2 etc) bcoz they gave them license and arrording to my knowledge they have license still ...

Same problem here. Never got my 1st cashback although they received my paperwork on 2Jan 08. Called - no luck with a guy, when asked to speak to the manager he replied "Manager is in a meeting" (yeah, right), emailed - no answer. Sent in 2nd cashback claim - envelope returned yesterday. That's when discovered The Mobile Outlet does not exist anymore.
Called T Mobile despite other people's experience of not getting anything from then either. T Mobile (rightly so, can't take responsibility for som ...

I have just sent my first cashback claim off, and thought I'd give them a ring to make sure they had recieved it, only to find no-one was answering the phones, the website does not work, and neither does the email. Thencame across this sight where my worst thoughts were realised, they have gone bust.

They now owe me £420. Followed all terms to the letter. Today had my final cash back claim returned to me in the post as undeliverable, so I take it thats the end! I cant believe this is happening and we cant do anything. We have so many laws in this country surely people cannot get away with this. If you went into a supermarket and they offered a buy one get one free and at the checkout they charged you for both you would be able to get your money back or leave the items altogether. ...

I too am an unlucky customer who has tried to get in touch with themobileoutlet.co.uk!! When I tried to go to their website it took me into the e2save website which i noticed a previous reviewer recommended instead of TMO but buyers BEWARE as this site link might mean they are connected to TMO. When you look on the e2save website the deals look all too familiar!!!

I did wonder when I would try logging onto the site to find it didn't exist anymore! I am into the 11th month of a 12 month contract and haven't received any cashback whatsoever. I called about a month ago and like a lot of other people was told to call back in 28 days. I did ask the person at the other end if the company was going into receivership only to be told that "yes we are in Shipley!" I think I will buy my next phone from carphonewarehouse.

I'm in the same boat regarding unpaid cashback.
I did contact O2 on Saturday whem I learned that they had gone bust to discover that my contract was held by Carphone Warehouse. I spoke to Carphone Warehouse who confirmed that the Mobile Outlet / Vanilla Mobile were bought out by Carphone Warehouse and that outstanding Cashbacks were being dealt with by another subsidiary e2save. Unfortunately I spoke to them today and they referred me to the administrators. I don't know precisely the relationshi ...

I submitted claims following their procedure exactly. They didn't pay me the last instalment and have seemed to be ignoring my emails and letters. They owe me £108 and it appears there is nothing I can do to get this money.

Although this company are in Administration if you call their "customer care" number they still tell you to keep waiting, when I said that I have been waiting for 7 months and have had bills returned undelivered by Royal Mail I was told to send them again. Absolutely pointless with the firm in administration!

When I finally was going to ring them they go into Administration!!! Feel like going there myself to give what they deserve. I am only going to go to e2save from now on!!!

There is a letter on their website that explains that this company has gone into administration and advises the name and address that all creditors should write to. However, with such a high number of creditors looking for monies owed, there is little chance of receiving anything back. I found a website that explains how the process works and all they could suggest was to phone up your phoneline provider to see if they can reduce your monthly tariff but I have phoned t-mobile and they will n ...
