This is a biggest piece of junk i have ever seen. The first month I had it the site lens popped out on the brakes and the fluid ran out and it had no brakes. The dealership i got it from said Sorry we don't carry that anymore and we dont know where to get parts from. (read more)

It's so funny to find a great 5 star review from a "guest" after a bad review from an actual owner. I think the bike is cheap and not worth the $$$. Not recommended for anyone just getting into scooters. If you know how to work on them, that would be great, but anyone with some knowledge of scooters would walk away from them anyways. Cheap disposable bikes... (read more)

I have been riding motorcycles for over 25 years. I have had mopeds, a 1976 Honda 550 super sport that I built from parts, a 1979 Honda cb750k, a 1997 Suzuki 650 savage, various scooters, an AMF Harley sportster, a 1999 road king, and many others. At this time I own a 2001 Vulcan 1500FI, and the CPI Gt-R 150. My intention when I bought the CPI was to sell it. I got it with 226 miles on it from a guy who said he never had it over 45 miles an hour. I was selling my 1979 Honda 750, and... (read more)

Howdy everyone! I am from Moscow, Russia. I boght CPI GTR 150 last summer with 6000 km run. Very ergonomic and manoeuvrable bike - very easy to ride. It saves me from Moscow traffic jams - worst in the world, by the way... I manage to drive it between cars in the deadly jamed city. And it allows me to go with 110 km.h on highway (that is with 150cc, I wonder how will things change with 180cc:)). Actualy - that is the only (I would say motorcycle) bike with automatic gear and adequate price... (read more)

When I first bought this CPI GTR 150cc bike/scooter I loved it. It was fast, reliable, all the things I wanted. But after about a year and a half (when my warranty ranout), things started to go wrong. It had trouble starting - which is really annoying as there is no kick start. Then the electrics went funny. First it was just the petrol light coming on randomly, I was always paranoid I was about to run out. Then the left indicator light stopped, so I changed the bulb but it was the switch,... (read more)

I wouldn't reccomend this CPI GTR 150cc bike because it has been nothing but trouble for me. Too many problems and not enough help from the owner's manual. The service cost alone has already been over $450.00 US and it doesn't even have 500 miles on it yet.
Not happy with this product at all.

I currently own a CPI GTR50 - 2005 model. Cool "motorcycle" look with a scooter 49cc engine. It was ordered from the dealer (St. Louis, MO - USA) with an exhaust conversion kit - speeds up to 45 - 50 mph. After repairs (under warranty) to the fuel line, no problems at all with performance - runs excellent, though speedometer still does not work - but remember, it's only a 49cc. (read more)

Second owner, first user of it. Was a display by first owner. Sat with gas in it for a year. Fixed that problem. Found a dealer here in Phoenix. Fairly quick to get parts. Been told that warranty work is weird thru the Texas distributer of the bikes. Since purchase of the first one I have purchased a second for my wife. And my best friend bought one as well. Very happy with my purchase. Saves me tons of cash every week. (read more)

Great cross over bike, fast enough to have fun on city streets, yet not 2 fast to get me in real trouble.
Nice looking bike as far as any problems so far so good but its only gor 1800 miles.
Great bike for the price.

Basically My CPI fell apart after 1 year. Sensors went out, exhaust fell off, cooling system is crapped out, CVT out. Its cheap, its poor, the only good thing to it is the frame. (read more)

The CPI GTR is a good by for those who can't afford a big bike.
It handles better than any ordinary scooter due to the 17" wheels and the sitting position.

The CPI GTR 150cc is a good cross between a scooter and a motorcycle. It operates like a modern automatic scooter, but rides, looks, and handles like a conventional motorcycle. The first time I rode it, I was reminded of riding a horse. You sit rather upright, instead of being bent over a fuel tank as on many sport bikes.
The top speed is around 55 or 60 mph, which is not very impressive for a modern 150cc. With the large diameter tires, the acceleration is also not very impressive. Both are...

I have the 150 version and I love it. Wish the fuel tank was bigger and had a fuel gauge, but love the ride and the sporty look.

Where can you buy the 150cc model. I have searched on the internet, but I can't seem to find it. Can people tell me where they got theirs, or if they know of anywhere in England I can buy one (preferably around London)? Thanks.

In AMERICA..... this bike comes in the 150cc model more than the 50cc model, but both are available in the US, from what I've read and seen on videos the 150cc model is probably not available in England or overseas, just depends where you live so maybe theres no 150cc by you.

This is exactly what happened. It had trouble starting, the sensors went out, then the exaust fell off. Now the drive shaft completely snapped in half on the highway and Ive got a large piece of junk sitting in my garage.
