    Good Points: not really sure that they had any.


    Bad Points: Everything. Their products are cheap because they don't send them.


    General comments: We bought the london bed from them in i think april 2005. It was taken from my credit card and we were given a delivery date. On the date my husband rang to double check that they were coming because we were having a sneaky feeling about this firm, they said that orders were mixed up and we would have to wait till next week. I THINK NOT I SAID!!!! We hired a white van within half an hour and went up to the warehouse which i think was in Burnley, not sure though!!, to collect it!!! It cost us '£35 to do this but at least i got my bed! They did have lots of stock in the warehouse and i must admit that my bed and mattress were all brand new and absolutley perfect when we put it together. It is really beautiful.I am glad we hired the van after reading these reviews! They said that they were in the process of moving to a nearby bigger unit?? Maybe they have changed their name to??(on purpose of course!) Check it out as you have nothing to lose!

    I ordered the chair on the 7th June 2005 for my daughters 1st birthday (4 July). I got an email from Bargain Furniture saying "processing". When I checked the website every week, that's all I got so I started emailing. I got one saying ring them and they will give me a date. The first date I got was the 15 August and they said they would ring the day before and email to make sure, which they did, to say they didn't have it in stock.     I placed an order with Bargain Furniture on 5/12/05 got an email for confirmation next day, money went out and got another email telling me my order is being processed. waited six weeks, as they said delivery between 4-8 weeks, then sent an email asking how long for my order. I never heard from them, called them, phone rang off the wall, checked the website....gone.
    It's now in the hands of my credit card company

    Ordered goods from Bargain Furniture on 14 November 2005. The money was removed from my account straight away. Two dates for delivery were given the first was cancelled, the second did not turn up. All attempts to contact the company have failed, the phone is unanswered, the Email address no longer accepts incoming Emails.

    I ordered a dining set from Bargain Furniture on 29 Nov 05, the money was taken from my account the following day.
    I received 2 e-mails within minutes of each other with 2 different delivery dates. The first quoting 9/11, the second apologising for the error & quoting 20/12.     Ordered a kingsize luxury mattress on the 15th Dec 2005. Payment was withdrawn from my visa account the next day. No correspondance over the festive season so I gave Bargain Furniture the benefit of the doubt. Only to discover on 7th Jan 2006 that their website no longer exists. Have tried sending e-mails, telephoning but just rings out. Have been totally ripped off!! Trading Standards are involved at this time.     Orderd 2 sofas 2 months ago from Bargain Furniture. They didn't turn up so I cancelled the order but never got my money back. I have tried to phone but no answer & can't find the web site again. My banks fraud team are now going to investigate keep well away from this company.

    I paid Bargain Furniture £701.00 for a king size leather bed and luxury mattress, also bunk beds for my daughter. The money was taken from my account on 13/10/05, delivery date after delivery date was promised(which I had to call them each time to confirm)then to be told the delivery driver had rang in sick and they could not get my order to me for another 12 days after!     I ordered a new suite from Bargain Furniture on the 27th October 2005 and as yet have still not recieved the goods. I was given numerous delivery dates and numerous excuses following them. One of them being that the truck broke down.     I ordered a bed and a mattress from Bargain Furniture on 28/10/05. Delivery date was to be 1/12/05. On 30/11/05 someone called Paul phoned me and said that the items were out of stock. When I asked why he had waited until the day before the due delivery date to contact me. He then said that the items were not out of stock but were damaged.     I ordered a Pine dining set from Bargain Furniture back on 28th of October. After waiting the 28th of November for it to be delivered. When it finally arrived it was the wrong length table, two of the four chairs were broken. After speaking with them on the phone they said they would try to redeliver on the 8th of December. only to phone at a later date to postpone that delivery untill the 19th of December which is today. Hopefully I will have more luck.

    Back in July, I ordered an Acapulco sideboard and Acapulco entertainment unit from Bargain Furniture. They delivered the incorrect sideboard on the 26th July and said that the correct item would be sent when the entertainment unit was in stock.

    Well, my story is I purchased an item around the 25th August from Bargain Furniture. One week later I did receive a call to say delivery date is 3rd October which I said was too long can they bring it forward and they did to the 21st September. Happy customer until then.     I ordered two bedside tables on 2nd August 2005 from Bargain Furniture. As at 13th October they have yet to be delivered and I have cancelled the order. I have always had to contact Bargain Furniture to get updates on the order. They have repeatedly promised to phone back and have not.     I think I have been caught by Bargain Furniture. I am still waiting for a delivery date for two chairs I ordered on 25/9/05 and I cannot access their web site.

    I've had problems with Bargain Furniture for months. I ordered a sofa and two armchairs over a month ago and have been given excuse after excuse. Sometimes they don't even answer the phone. First excuse: Out of stock. Please wait 28 days. Fine. Next excuse: We were going to deliver to you today, but the van broke down on the motorway. You will now have to wait another 25 days for delivery - but it's not guaranteed to come on the date they gave me. Requested refund - been told to wait another 30 ...
