Good Points: Quicker and easier than calling everyone or using individual sites. Been around for long long time.
Bad Points: It saves your details for future use which I would rather it didn't. Just the paranoia in me coming through though.
General comments: After receiving my renewal from Norwich Union which included a nice £200 increase I decided to use Confused.com.
From my original quote from NU of £620 the rise to £820 was not going to happen. Confused.com search deeley went about its business and came back with a load of quotes.
The lowest was £240 but with an £600 excess which was ridiculous but the next quote of £309 with a £200 excess Fully comp was right up my street.
Needless to say I called up the company offering the quote (swift) and the confirmed that this was the correct price so I took it up straight away.

I have just used confused.com for the first time and have saved over £150 on home and contents insurance. The website is very easy to use, the quotes were genuine and I took them out within minutes online......Excellent. I have always dreaded renewal time because I literally spend hours on the phone getting quotes. I am actually looking forward to next year to see how much more I can save!!!!!! WELL DONE CONFUSED :)

My quote was less than my current (LV) but LV kept saying the quote was corrupted and when resubmitted was still corrupted. 2. Dozens of quotes going into the £`000s, when my existing quote for B+C is 300. Waste of time

I would definitely use Confused.com again, they saved me loads. Check out their top tips on saving money too, as that helped me bring down my quote. Was extremely pleased that they managed to save me £112 on car insurance. Did a quick home quote too, and looks like i can save an extra £70. Also found some of the tips and news items really interesting and helped me alot!

Tried confused.com after receiving my car insurance renewal quote from Direct Line. Saved myself over '£65 by transferring to Sheilas Wheels. Sorry Direct Line! Thanks confused.com! Will be checking out your website for other savings.

After enduring their intensely annoying TV ads for several weeks, I decided to try confused.com to see if they could get me some cheap car insurance. There appears to be no distinction between variable Direct Debit, and Direct Debit where the set amount is deducted.
Not uncommon with other comparison sites.
My Current tariff for electricity was not shown (Price saver 2008)
My experience not in accordance with their adverts.When I queried the above they did not understand - to which I replied that says it all.
Confused.com asked me to give them my telephone number so we can discuss my complaint over the phone.

I would say that it's a place where you can find everything. It saves you time and you don't have to go to each and every provider's web site to get quotes. I found the service and the quotes to be accurate and at some instances the rates are even better. I would definitely recommend it to everyone to have a look at their service.
