    Good Points: Large modern rooms, superb restaurant, friendly and professional service, great wine list and knowlegable wine waiter.


    Bad Points: None.


    General comments: The Werfen, Obauer Hotel/Restaurant features in ' Les Grandes Tables du Monde' and produced a nine-course menu that rates as one of the best dinners we have ever experienced. It was truly a gastronomical journey. Selection, combinations, originality and use of fresh local produce, combined with presentation made it 'art on a plate'. We can't wait to visit it again next year on our journey back from Croatia to England. Herr Obauer is one of the most friendly hotel owners you could hope to meet. If you appreciate fine dining, this is a must visit.
