Bad Points: Poor information give to me.
General comments: MAN - FUE. Our Flight was due to take off on Saturday 2nd at 1020hrs, upon arrival at the airport we were informed that the aircraft had gone "tech" in Crete and that we were going to be coach transferred at 1100hrs to Gatwick for a 1530hrs flight. Check in staff thought that the coach trip would take approx 90 minutes which gave us lots of time to check in. Working within the transport industry I know that this journey would take at least 4 hours giving us 30 mins to check in and board! After heated discussions from all of the holiday makers we were then informed that "plan B" was to become active and we were to be accomodated at the Radisson hotel until an aircraft and flight crew could be found. We eventually departed Manchester at 2000hrs on a decrepid looking Latcharter aircraft that had long passed it's shelf life. I shall make sure that I never travel with Air Malta again.

Flights on time, nice crew, clean planes and good in flight entertainment. Food could of been a bit better, but was adequate. Did get a free alcoholic drink with meal, so cant really complain. Very nice flight. Its a shame to see on here Air Malta are letting standards slip in the charter flights.

I would never book flights with this company again, it completely spoilt my holiday with over 37 hours of delays outbound and return.

Flew (eventually) from Manchester to Corfu 21st July 2008. Arrived 3 hours before (as per ticket) - desk didn't open until 2 hours before. 7hr+ delay - no further info all day - no Air Malta rep (apparently there is only one Air Malta rep, who didn't turn in for work - so that's OK then!!) The Swissport people wouldn't man the info desk and the manager refused to come out to speak to anyone. When I did track one down I was told this standard of service is normal for Air Malta.

We were meant to fly out at about 8am on the way out so got to Manchester airport at 6 ish. We were then told at check in it was delayed for 2 hours and were given a £5 voucher for food. They kept changing the delay time and eventually at 1.30 they called us over and opened the gate. We were stood waiting for 20 minutes till they closed it and told us it will be about 30 minutes. Manchester to Rhodes (Wednesdays) KOSMAR / XL / Air Malta we were told was our charter but no! They have sub contracted it out to Lat Charter and it's not just a temporary thing. If you have booked this holiday then beware of this change. Prepare yourself for the oldest looking Airbus ever, odd groaning and knocking noises, dirty flea pit internally as it looked like it's never seen a duster or vac. Why you'd then purchase food on board I can't imagine but you have no choice as there is no meal ...

I found the service as pleasant and professional as ever. The flights were punctual, the luggage dealt with promptly, and stewards/stewardesses were particularly attentive to infants in our party.
Very pleased - will fly Air Malta again in the future.

Flew to Cyprus with Air Malta, told 30 min delay then an hour then two. Given a 5 pound voucher for a sandwich I found rank then not told anything till 5 hours after we were supposed to fly, then a groundsman told me the plane was ready and the crew were missing, found them after a further hour and one of the female crew was too tired and refused to fly! Had to wait another 90 mins till a replacement member arrived. The reason for the delay (wait for it) ONE OF THE STAFF HAD ACCIDENTALLY SET OFF ...

KM650V Man to Corfu. 2nd time I've used this flight this year and it has been severely delayed each time. Last night it was over 7 hours. We have friends in Corfu who tell us that others have used this flight and have also experienced severe delays.
The tour companies should not use this airline!

Have flown with Air Malta twice each year for the past 4 years. Have no complaints. Flights always smooth, staff always pleasant, but I think the food could do with improvement. OK yes there is sometimes a delay but these things happen. Even if you travel by car anywhere you can get holdups with traffic. So come on we have to expect these things.

Just got home from my worst nightmare, never again will I fly with Air Malta. We were supposed to Fly from Manchester to Zante only Air Malta had other ideas, first it was luggage delays, then it was time slot delay then something to do with the door as they couldn't shut it. Just returned from nightmare of all nightmare experience due to Air Malta. Outward bound flight form Manchester to Zante. Original flight time was 05.30 a.m and changed at last minute to 7.50. Arrived at Manhester Airport to unconfirmed delay. Eventually boarded at 12.00 and sat on the tarmac for 1.5hrs hrs. Booked on flight km6606v this turned out to be late. We went to check in and were given a meal voucher and told there was a one hour delay!

Flew with Air Malta BHX to KGS - delayed on both journeys, had 1 film both ways and the remainder of time was screen showing flight path, speed etc. Spent over an hour on outbound sat on tarmac waiting for take off slot although other aircraft departing around us. Exact same thing happened on return. Wouldn't choose to fly with then again but it appears the like of Kosmar/Libra etc using them quite a lot for Greece resorts unfortunately.

Air Malta, do not fly with them! Unless you are prepared for delays double what you are told and delays you are told nothing about. We flew to Gran Canaria on flight KM6066V and back to Manchester again on KM6067V. On the way out we were told of a 2 hour delay. This turned to four. On the way out we were told the flight was on time. It was 6 hours late. On the way out we sat on the aircraft for 45 minutes before they even started to load on the luggage.

Air malta abondoned all there passengers on the km650v flight from Corfu to Manchester on sat 5th July 2008. We were told to leave the aircraft after 3 hours sat on the runway at venice! We shouldn't have been in venice! So from 9 o'clock sat morning untill, 2.30 sunday morning! We were left with no help, no one to represent us, thanks for a unbelievable experiance air malta-never again!

We booked a flight to Gran Canaria on the 14th June 08 from Manchester and were delayed over 6 hours going out and were delayed 6 hours on our return journey. My family will not fly with them again.

We were told at check in there was a 4 hour delay and told nothing more until almost 100 of us congregated at the information desk and were told to ring Air Malta. We did to be greeted with a 'leave a message' answer machine service. A Swissport representative then came and told us we would be accommodated at a hotel overnight and we had to go and get our luggage.
