I would have liked to be writing a more positive review re special days but following our experience earlier this year i regret to say we will never use them again, communication with staff is poor and our cake was like the leaning tower of pizza,bashed and unproffessionaly constructed, we e mailed photos to the bakers website and asked for him to telephone personally, we never recieved a call, our e mails were ignored then we recieved one that said there was nothing wrong with the cake. When compared to same cake in brochure it looks ridiculous. have awarded 2 stars as cake itself tasted very nice, shame about lack of responsibility though!!

special days cakes were very helpful, nothing was a bother and my wedding cake was super! the manager at our hotel said they would only recomend special days because their standard was outstanding and i totaly agree. Their shop is amazing with hundreds of wedding cakes to choose from and they give out free samples before you buy.Thanks special days!

This company are fantastic! No matter what was asked for, they couldn't do enough to please, nothing was a bother to them and they even went that extra length to do more than was requested to make our wedding cake so special for us. I would strongly recommend anyone in the process of ordering their wedding cake to seriously consider ordering through this fantastic company.

My Special Days Cakes, wedding Cake looked amazing, and tasted amazing too. Only bad point was it just arrived in time. Overall it just looked perfect, I'm so happy.

For anyone who wants to know how to contact Special Days, they are based in Uddingston, and I only have a website address, which is www.balloon-boutique.co.uk.

Midas were the best function band I have ever heard, and I advise anyone having a special do to give them a call. Once again, thank you to Special Days, you seem to know the best of the best

We looked at loads of wedding cake suppliers, at bridal shows etc, and Special Days were really friendly and helpful. They listened to what we wanted, and they didn't pressure us into choosing a design that was easy for them, or that was more expensive. A really good all-round experience.

I saw Special Days Cakes at a wedding show and they certainly put on a show, they had the most comprehensive display of cakes and samples to taste too, and to top that, we had our colour scheme and change of decorations/ribbons all added in for nothing extra.

You deal direct with the guy making the cake later on nearer the day so you get what you expect and what you asked for....no buts!!

They lived up to their name and made our day 'SPECIAL'.

In fact we have had a Christmas cake now 2 ...
