Good Points: excellent machine never had any problems with it.
Bad Points: none
General comments: i have had no problems with this Servis M6160W at all. I notice only 5 reviews suggesting all the other 100s of customers are happy with theirs?

Bought a Servis M6160W brand new, drum sounds like a tractor, put on hold by automated answer service for 22 mins, I eventually just hung up.

Good machine with good cleaning results and excellent spin results, just a shame it didn't last very long. Last independent engineer that we called to look at the machine did say that the only problem with Servis machines in his opinion is that they tend to only last 3-4 years

After having three delivered within two months - first one wouldn't even switch on, replaced by Argos within 14 days, then second one flooded the kitchen during the third wash... third one has worked fine for 12 months, so we decided not to bother with renewing the warranty. . . and now literally three weeks after it runs out, all the clothes coming out are dripping wet - the spin cycle which should be 1600 is more like 400. My OH is all for binning it.

I was quite surprised by the other review, as I have had almost the same problem with the machine. I also purchased from Argos (Mid July 2005) and paid the extra to have it delivered and fitted within five days.
I was quite fortunate that it worked from the off, and generally speaking it has performed its duties very well (approximately 10 washes per week) - until now. Yesterday the machine decided midwash to keep tripping the electric for the whole house (and will now not work at all), and ...

I've had my Servis M6160W Easy Logic 1600 washing machine for just over a year now, and the other day I returned, and it had apparently just switched itself off mid-wash. I replaced the fuse in the plug. It wasn't that. So, I guess it's repair time. Unfortunately it's outside of it's 12 month warranty, so while I've probably still got a right to some assistance from Argos (from whom I bought it), legally speaking, it might be trickier than I hoped.
