The sym DD50 is the modern day version of the Honda Elite. Excellent build quality. Zips, Rexy and Jog bikes in general may be brute in demeanor but, they stand tall and are clumsy looking. The DD50 is the smooth and slick David, while the others are big for nothing Goliaths. Anyone can see that! Until the Elite returns, if ever..... The SYM DD50 is Ferrari amonst Hyundais!

I did my first CBT on the Sym DD 50 and then really wanted to buy one but got given a sym jet euro x instead, (which is even better).
The only problem was that going round a roundabout I actually switched the engine off, but that is the only problem, good little bike.

Overall Great little runner, still running the machine in. Looking to get it de-restricted once I have done that and looking for a little more speed when needed. Can't really knock it that much great value for money.

A good moped to modify to your own style, with many bolt on parts available. Just a shame the cylinder on the Sym DD50 50 overheats and the drive belts wear quickly.

The Sym DD50 50 is a fab small scooter, as I am short and chubby it suits me to perfection, tops 40 mph (downhill) averaging 30/35, excellent MPG, huge fun, comfy saddle and suspension, very well built (got knocked off in week one and minimal damage was done! All repaired now). Starts every time, great brakes great spec, even the speedo lights up, huge under-saddle storage box, great lights, once again great great fun to ride and saves a fortune on taking the car to work, and beats the traffic j ...

When I bought this bike it took a bit of getting used to, because I'm used to heavier bikes than this, but now I'm used to it I love it to pieces, it's a very quick little run around, it will do 60 miles at a time quite happily and it's probably the best handling bike I've ever ridden and it's easy to repair any faults.
