Good Points: Very exciting, an original storyline. Very surprising and very funny.
Bad Points: Can tend to drag on a bit.
General comments: Ravens Gate is the first in a series of books by Anthony Horowitz, about a teenager who goes to jail then finds some extraordinary and strange, horrific events happening. When these events always seem to be to do with him, he realises that he is the one that's in trouble and different to any normal teenagers.
This original book is the first in a brilliant series that surprise and make you fall off your seat your so far forward. It's one of those books you really could just sit down and read all day.
The storyline is excellent and as always with Anthony Horowitz books, very well written and well researched.
Definitely a book that you would want to read and keep reading, a great beginning book of the series in which there are 3 at the moment, Ravens Gate, Evil Star, Nightrise.
A brilliant start to the series is Ravens Gate, setting out the storyline and making out what the series will be about. A flawless book and undoubtedly soon to be an as bigger hit as the Alex Rider books. If you haven't read it, I suggest you do.

Ravens Gate is a fantastic book (from what I've read so far).
I received a book voucher and decided to spend it on this book! Anthony Horowitz is a fantastic author! Can anyone recommend any of his other books?
