Just returned from Egypt , Coral Sea Resort . People have been asking me , have you had a good holiday ? well , not really , apart from the weather and the beautiful beach and clean room , i wasn't happy with anything else . The room itself was clean and our houseworker Sherrif was lovely but it wasn't like the pictures we had seen . have just returned from a fantastic holiday, wishing i was still there. The management, staff, cleaners (especially ours 2234)gardeners were polite, helpful and totally great. The resort is so lovely, not too many kids around too not like some of the other resorts. the food was excellent too so much of it, even though i ate salad most of the week i did try different food with it too. i cant wait to go back next year and for many years after too. this is the second time at this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it again.most of the staff are the same and love us brits to bits. there are a couple of bad points the animation team are very good but are governed by hotel management on what shows to put on, to that effect it was exactly the same as last year.food was lovely something for everyone i think.the rooms need a good overall tidy up ours had 2 sockets hanging out of the wall which should have been fixed before we went in however it... We only had a few bad points really. We went all inclusive and found that the hotel had so much choice food wise, the bad point with the food was thats its quality was awful. Im not really a fussy eater, but finding little rock hard bits of crap when your munching your food isnt pleasant nor is chewing a big piece of grissle which meant that for most of our 11 night stay we lived over the road from the complex at burger king and kfc. Loved this holiday at Coral Sea Resort. It was good for kids. Lots to do on complex and off. Could not fault the hotel . food and hygiene all immaculate beds change ever second day towels every day. Good food and what a choice lovely.

Rude bar staff when Coral Sea Resort managment was informed apologies given, staff blamed tiredness for attitude. First choice team leader was unavailable when problems arose. Aquaries water sports disapointing organisation.refunds had to be argued for. Cost extra to go with First Choice but have back up of finding someone to vent feelings to. Me and my family went from 23 June to 8 July 2008. On arrival treated very special- bags taken to rooms and refreshments waiting whatever time you arrive! Staff were more than helpful could not do enough for you, mini fridge stopped working so I rang for desk and literally within five minutes there was a knock on the door with a new one! Food excellent, staff likewise, bottled water available morning, lunchtime and dinnertime in restaurant. Kid's made lots of friends and enjoyed pool's, beach, kids club (to watch DVD's, playstation or simply play with friends when they wanted a break from the sun!, recommend you take some vd's with you as you can play these there). Friendly staff, good pools, overall a good hotel. Variety of food could have been better, a bit repetitive. You could only get bottled water between 12.30 and 2.00pm otherwise it was warm water in dispensers around the hotel. Never had that one before! Only went for 10 days and was ill for 5 of them, have been to better hotels in Egypt and I would not return to this one. (read more)

Returned from Coral Sea resort on 13th June. Had one week there. Enjoyed it very much, very relaxing. Weather was fantastic (providing you like it Hot Hot Hot!) Blue sky everyday. Staff great fun. Generally food was good and plentiful and they tried to please everyone.
Would return to Egypt, but will try somewhere new, maybe Taba heights, heard glowing reports about it.

Excellent place to stay if you are after a relaxing holiday. Entertainment was aimed at the children rather than adults but Naama Bay with its shops, bars and restaurants is within fairly easy reach by hotel shuttle bus. If you visit Naama Bay, you definitely need to sample the food at Viva Beach restaurant. The service is excellent, the staff friendly and the food was fabulous and very cheap.

All five of us headed off for a holiday of a lifetime, and I must admit that is what we got. On arrival the hotel Coral Sea Resort just looked stunning we were checked quickly and our bags brought to our rooms, the rooms were only fab huge and big and we had a lovely sea view it was so lovely. After going to the Coral Sea Resort in September 2007 we came straight home and booked again for June, this time with our 2 children. With 5 weeks until we go back I cant wait and get butterflies at the thought. A holiday that I think we'll find hard to beat and I'm sure our children will love it just as much as we do. Good points, food, people were friendly, area, staff were nice easy to find your room and there were shops that sold souvenirs. They also had a good air-conditioning in rooms and restaurants and the lobby. Actually one of the most delightful hotels I have ever stayed in very nice. There was plenty of leg room on the First Choice flight. We had no difficulties on arrival at the airport. The return flight was delayed for 2 hours due to weather conditions in the U.K.
Hotel was only a short distance from the airport. The gardens in the Hotel were well maintained by a team of gardeners working in full sun all day. Well then where do I start, we have just come back from Coral Sea Resort and arrived back in the house at 6am this morning.
The hotel is first class and how it has not been awarded five star status is beyond me, with the facilities and food being excellent. Other than the bad points we really enjoyed our stay at the Coral Sea Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. We had a jacuzzi suite, which was enormous and kept very clean. The entertainment is limited, but the First Choice entertainers work so hard, and they put so much effort in, so we can't fault them. We generally chilled out, but they organise lots of sports if you like that.
We did try to always tip the Egyptian staff as they get paid so little, and we were very generous with them, but we wish...

We have just returned from the Coral Sea Resort and we were very impressed.
The hotel is very large and like other people we got lost on our way to our room. But we quickly found a number of short cuts back to the main building. The grounds are well kept and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
