we stayed at the Anthis in 2004, and found it a great base for a holiday. the family who own it are very friendly, the pool bar and food is very reasonably priced, and very good. although the rooms are basic, they were spotlessly clean, and the huge terrce outside our room more than made up for a small room. i would recommend Samos to anyone who wants a peaceful hoiliday, and who is ready to walk to get out and about. We love Athis and will travel here many times to come, they could not be more helpful. The holidaymakers are really friendly. You can book directly with the owner for half the price just call him!!!! You really should try it. The place is lovely very relaxing and Pythagorion harbour is out of this world. Try the four seasons restaurant for quality tasty food. (read more)

I know Greece is quite basic but the Pythagorion Anthis Studios/Apartments accommodation was basic. I certainly would not recommend the Anthis apartments to anyone. We were so disappointed with Kosmar tour company we will not be traveling with them again. (read more)

We had a great time has always at the Anthis, this being our third time of going, we look forward to seeing everyone and the cats.

“We were pleasantly surprised by these apartments in...”

We were pleasantly surprised by these apartments in Samos after reading one of the reviews. It was spotlessly clean, and the owners were excellent. We are in our 50's, and we enjoyed the walk each evening into Pythagorion. The harbour is wonderful, with lots of lovely restaurants. Although the Anthis Apartments are on a main road, we found lots of walks off the beaten track. (read more)

Friendly owners and staff. Quiet location, but close enough to town. Ideal for walking to the local beach, which is 15 minutes walk from the Pythagorion Anthis Studios. Standard accommodation, but clean and tidy. The owner and his family were very friendly, as were the staff. I would not hesitate in recommending to friends. Samos is a superb island with a lot to see and do. (read more)

Overall exceptionally good holiday at Pythagorion Anthis Studios. Samos island is very beautiful, and the Greek people cannot do enough for you. Rooms were small, but clean, and for the amount of time we spent in them we had adequate space. (read more)

The Pythagorian Anthis Studio Apartments are 5 minutes away from the airport, close to unkept land. 30 minutes from town, and 15 minutes from the beach.
As soon as I arrived at this place I was so disappointed, as it did not reflect the brochure description. When we were taken to our room we walked in and walked straight out, and refused to stay. 4 of us have just come home from a very happy holiday staying at the Anthis Studios. It is owned and run by Kostas & his family, they are lovely people, very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay a happy one. The Studios are surrounded by all kinds of olive & fruit trees with views of the mountains. Close to the Airport, but this isn't a problem. We have just returned, from a hastily booked, stab in the dark , two week trip. We knew nothing of Samos, only that it was a Greek island, and we frequent Greece as much as we can, so we couldn't go far wrong. 'Couldn't go far wrong' proved the understatement of the millennium!! With the good head start of being situated on Samos, which is absolutely breathtaking in it's beauty,the Anthis offers a tantalising welcome as soon as you get there. We have just returned from a super 2 weeks at Anthis. The small and friendly family run property was so relaxing. costa and his family worke so hard to give us the best of everything. We shall definetly be recommending to friends. Room 5 has a huge patio area overlooking the pool and gets a lovely breeze if you bake to much by the pool. Food is basic but delicious especially costas home made chips. superb!!

I have stayed at the Anthis Apartments on 10 occasions and have never had anything less than a truly memorable and enjoyable holiday.
The family run location is comfortable, clean and relaxing. It has all the amenities that you require for a quiet 'lie by the pool and read my book' holiday. But for the more active there are many activities to undertake such as walks, jet ski hire and boating. The weather guarantees you a good tan.
