This company gives on-line companies a bad name! I ordered a set of kettle-bells of various sizes - they obviously didn't have a particular size i stock, as I later found out but instead thought it would be ok to send me two of the same size!! I have been trying for 6 months now to get it replaced - I have asked for my money back - I am still going through it all for a simple kettlebell. My advice? Avoid like the plague - useless! I purchased a Stowamatic GTS Electric Golf Trolley from these people and after 13 months it literally fell to pieces - axle and frame both snapped, in my opinion due to the excessive weight of the battery supplied. VERY VERY disappointed in the company , yes the item was cheaper however this counts for little when the after sales service is so poor/none existent. Despite several emails and assurances from SportsHQ that the items have been shipped "express delivery" , "will be shipped today" some 5 weeks on I am still waiting for pole clamps for a trampoline enclosure. I have used SportsHQ a number of times over the last few years and my golf clubs are from Forgan. You're obviously the lucky one then. I have had nothing but problems, broken wheels, snapped axle, electrical fault and now this weekend the frame has snapped above one if the wheels. I could tell you the tales of woe of dealing with the customer support team as well as various managers, the replacement wheels were used! The 6 weeks it ooh or them to pick up the trolley etc etc etc. I've e mailed hem again. In oral since November 2011 I've used the trolley maybe 80 times and feel utterly ripped off.

Sorry about these problems, I'd like to try and help you.
We use a courier for delivery, and we can only work off the information they give us. I know that's not ideal, but that's what we have to do. There's no reason for us to lie to you - it only causes us more work, frustrates our customers, and doesn't achieve anything useful!
I'm concerned that you had to wait 10 days for a notification about an out of stock - that is not acceptable and I apologise.

I am certain that you would also be interested in knowing about any customers who are unhappy with the levels of service from your Company.
I purchased a Cyclomatic Electric Bike on 17th October 2010 from your Company. Since then I have had 4 faulty chargers and the battery pack failed which your staff acknowledged on 19th October 2012:
"Hello, Thank you for your response.
Your original battery and charger failed the tests, so we are sending you a replacement battery and charger."
The offer was fine except that the replacement charger which was sent back was obviously far older than the one I sent in which had only been used for up to 100 miles. The faulty Battery Pack I sent to your Company was in pristine condition whereas the one I got back was obviously much older, badly marked and scuffed. Because I was getting nowhere with customer services I have chosen to take the following actions out of sheer frustration...
1. Start a website
2.. Start a blog
3. Do a You Tube post
4. Give 21 days notice of my intention to turn to the Small Claims Court for recompense.
All of the above actions can be either dissolved or avoided with help from you for me to achieve a fully working bike with either a new/nearly new fully functioning battery pack comparable in the usage and condition of the faulty pack I returned to your company. This action would further need to be the reason why the bike kept cutting out on me so I have a fully functioning electric bike

I wished i read the review above before buying from SportHQ. They are terrible with everything, they dont call customers regarding any issues they are having with the goods you ordered, you have to call them everyday and even when they arrange your delivery, you spend days waiting as if you dont have anything to do. They are unliable and dont care about their customers.
If you want to buy anything from them, please look for it somewhere else or else you will regret it. I will never order from them again.

The Confidence electric fitness treadmill arrived the day after placing the online purchase. The product is excellent and is tremendous value for money.Three days after purchase the on/off switch failed. Sounds like you've had a nightmare there. Although as a golfer myself, I would never purchase a \"cheap\" electric trolley as they never last long and the build quality simply wont be there. I'd recommend trying to purchase a second hand powercaddy or motocaddy if you can find one. Good luck with the customer service.

Hi, I had similar problems with a golf trolley and I am in the process of getting a refund (after my warranty expired). I would write to them stating the goods are not fit for purpose and that you want a refund. Take them to the small claims, have a look online for Letter of intent and you'll find info and templates on what to do. The guarantee is not worth the paper it was written on and you do have rights to have this refunded! Consumer Direct is a good place to get help. Good luck!

After looking through the website I thought HQ Sports looked like a well run business how wrong I was. At the point of purchase I paid for next day AM delivery, guess what they didn't turn up. The excuse offered by the saleman was your card details were incorrect even though I had an order payment confirmation to say it all went through. I bought two marquees for my wedding next Saturday. Both collapsed on myself, my future husband and friends when trying it out. I ordered a piece of exercise equipment that when it arrived was found to be a previous customers returned item. That was bad enough, but contained inside the box was a letter from the previous customer asking for a refund and containing part of their bank details. My elderly father purchased the Stowamatic Electric Golf Trolley from SportsHQ for my 50th birthday in June 2010. As he purchased it in April to be organised, the guarantee started then, even though I didn't start using til July. As of last week the charger stopped working and the battery never even fitted the holder from the beginning. I questioned this back in July 2010 and was told it was the correct one. RE: golf trousers. I'd be willing to bet they are from a batch of Ashworth clearance? They came in labelled incorrectly (probably why they are on clearance!) - we sold them based on our standard sizing, rather than the incorrect label, to try and make things easier.
