Good Points: Superb performance and styling from a car with the same engine and gearbox as a Ferrari F430 but at half the price. Excellent build quality. The interior is just lush! Gets heads turning wherever you drive it. For a soft top, road noise is remarkably quiet. More to the point is that you don't tend to hear the road noise over the beautiful tone of the exhaust. Acceleration is startling.
Bad Points: Fuel consumption is not the best around, 16-18 mpg if you are careful, but if you start to move about quite quickly using all 400 BHP then it reduces quite dramatically. However, if you can afford this type of car, then you should not be too worried about fuel economy.
General comments: The Maserati Spyder GT 4.3 car is actually a 4.2 litre and not 430 litre as depicted! A superb car that I just love to drive. There is no other soft top sports car that comes close to it under £100k. Would I change it? Maybe only for a new Aston Martin Volante!
