I have just rented a flat in Stratford via David Daniels. I got the viewing the day I registered with the company and I made an offer straight away. I find both my agents as well as my maintenance contact (Louise) extremely professional. The main thing I liked is that they are very patient even with the customers who, like myself, ask numerous questions and require endless clarification. I have now been a customer of David Daniels in Stratford for 4 years, and have always felt that they genuinely care about the people they do business with, both tenants or landlords. I was having some difficulty finding a new house to rent, and DD gave me first option on a house that had just come onto the market. I bought a house through David Daniels in Stratford. They were helpful and courteous when showing us around, and easy to communicate with throughout the buying process. They were always on time, and said enough to be helpful without being overbearing. We had terrible trouble with our buyers and eventually after 6 months they pulled out. Cannot fault the determination and professional manner in which this was dealt with. Both the Deans stayed in contact with us constantly and gave every effort into getting us new buyers, which they did!! All I can say is that I would highly recommend them to anyone trying to sell or buy a property. They definately earned their money on our sale! (read more)

DD were always happy to conduct multiple viewings with us. Whilst an offer was on the table we required more visits to assess works that needed to be done and to get contractor quotations. DD were always willing to oblige. (read more)

My experience of the staff was awful. There were rude, gave incorrect information and were only interested in taking money. They did not deal with issues at the flat. I would be very worried if it was my property. They ignored leaks and other repairs. They refused to speak to me on the phone even though I could hear them in the background saying 'tell them to call back tomorrow.' (read more)

*RECOMMENDED* David Daniels were by far the most helpful, welcoming and accomodating agent that I spoke to when buying my flat. From the two Dean's in sales, who were happy to drive me to my viewings and keep me informed of my progress throughout, to the helpful rental department for giving me their time and patience when I wanted to know the rent I could achieve once purchased. Just completed the letting of my 2nd property through David Daniels and the experience was as successful as the 1st. The team were professional helpful and efficient. The management of my 1st property has been carried out in the same manner, a bonus for me as I travel abroad on business so much. I used David Daniels as a management agency for about 18 months. After a while their disparaging attitude towards my tenant, plus a few pricey bills for ongoing and unresolved maintenance work (in the end I got a contractor in myself, who fixed the problem in 1/2 hour for a fraction of the cost), caused me to terminate the management contract and deal directly with my tenants instead. I have had a great relationship with my tenants since, and urge anyone to organise any maintenance issues... (read more)

This David Daniels review is to let people know about the pitfalls I found when using this company. They are thoroughly unprofessional; I have dealt with lots of agencies and they are by far the worst. Slow, uninterested, and in my opinion unclear in their pricing structure. I'm a landlord renting property so I hate to think how they treat tenants (in fact I can tell yo uas my tenants were unimpressed also!) AVOID! (read more)

I have never seen something like this in my life! An agent for David Daniels STOOD ME UP FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO VIEW A HOUSE. I rung the company to see what was happening, they said the agent was in his way I waited another 30 minutes and no one turned up, even though their premises are about 15/20 minutes walk from the property. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH SUCH a hopeless business. (read more)
