Good Points: Silly, has you in giggles. A clever parody of the matrix.
Bad Points: Silly, the stupidity factor may make you hurt small furry animals if you read too much of it at once.
General comments: The cover of THe Matewix by Charlie Hamilton James says this is "Utterly Silly" and "Utterly exploitative". Never has the blurb on a book been so true. Basically it takes the plot of the "Matrix" turns it on it's side and gives it a good injection of humour. I started to read this book, at first I was impressed. The writer had got quite a decent parody going on. Unfortunately by the 20th page it had started to get on my nerves, taking jokes too far.....I decided I needed to carry on as I don't like an un-finished book. The strange thing is I started to enjoy it again. My girlfriend kept asking what I was tittering about. But as she hasn't seen the matrix I couldn't explain. If you're going to get this book be prepared for stupidity and silliness of the highest order. It's not a book that you can pick up and read from cover to cover in one sitting, it just starts to get on your nerves too much. It's the sort of book you have in the bathroom, so when you need to go for a dump you can pick it up, read a few pages and then walk away from it, otherwise you'll probably get bored of the recurring jokes very quickly.
