Good Points: Free to advertise your property. Telephone support. Worldwide coverage. Great for property swaps. Easy to use. Lots of details available on properties. Nice looking site.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: Quick Before Its Gone is a site for private property sales, rentals and swaps. It's a free site with no charges, commission or fees at all. It's been mentioned in the Daily Telegraph, and seems to be growing fast as there are more properties listed on it each day. The site is well laid out with clear navigation, and some useful advice on mortgages, loans and insurance. You can search for a property by region, county, or use a keyword search for a town or village. You can also use the site for finding a property swap, for example, if you are moving to another part of the country, you can check if there is anyone moving from there, and possibly arrange a house swap. The site not only covers the entire UK but also most worldwide destinations, so it can be very useful for finding a holiday home.
The search facilities are very good, and each individual property listed shows as much detail as the owner wants to write, and each ad can show up to 9 property photos! It's easy to contact the seller, as an email address is shown for each ad. You can even order a 'for sale' board if you want.
An excellent website, visually pleasing, very easy to use, lots of features and for a free site, unbeatable.
