Good Points: An excellent sci-fi thriller.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: Schwarzenegger meets Alien in this terrific science-fiction thriller from 1987. In the Predator movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger leads an elite squad of U.S. Army commandos to a remote region of the South American jungle, where they've been assigned to search for South American officials who've been kidnapped by terrorists. Instead they find some skinned corpses hanging from the trees, and realize that they're now facing a very mysterious deadly threat. As the squad is picked off one by one, Schwarzenegger finds himself up against a hideous massive alien that's heavily armed, and wearing some sort of suit that enables him makes itself invisible. The film's special effects are excellent, and the settings in the Mexican jungles add to the suspense of the film.
The storyline is brilliant, Schwarzenegger is superb - at his best even, and Predator is just massive!!
A good sci-fi thriller that has you wondering until the end. Great film!!
