    Good Points: Sol Cala Blanca in Palma Nova is in an excellent location for local amenities and the beach. There is a large, comfortable lounge and bar area, and a pleasant sea facing dining room. The rooms were spacious twin bedded rooms, and they were very clean and well maintained.


    General comments: We have stayed at the Sol Cala Blanca Hotel in Palma Nova on seven occasions over the Christmas period. We see the same guests there year after year, which speaks for itself. Staff are always pleased to welcome us back, and they are courteous. The dining room menu caters for many nationalities, and the standard of food is high.

    Highly recommended.

    We were allocated room 138 at Sol Cala Blanca which turned out to be smaller than other rooms with only just enough room between end of bed and wall to limber sideways past. Other rooms were much more spacious. Rude reception staff who seemed to not appreciate that they should not be able to sell rooms at 4* price if the room allocated was inferior. Hideous view of electricity pylon just two feet away from balcony. Overlooked by nearby hotel.
