The problem I have with these cards is the fact that you are told you have a certain number of minutes at the beginning of a call but in practice this is usually far from the truth!! I used a card and was told I had 610 minutes but only used it for 120 minutes when it finished. Even if there is a connection fee this can't be right! Pls be truthful from the onset about the number of minutes. Surprisingly honesty DOES get you a long way!!

Absolutely sh*t. DO NOT USE THEM. If it was me i would bar them and fine them in millions and distribute the money to the people who they have ripped including me. You never get the minutes advertised or even remotely close. The card that i use, the operator tells me i have approx 30 mins and the card ends in 7. That is a very wrong approximation not even a approximation. Feel like kicking some one in lycatalk. Customer service numbers dont even work. Ridiculous

I have used Eurotel cards to call oz and was getting 360mins for a £5.00 card but now they have cut it too 350mins,but also as many others have mentioned they tell you you have say 100mins left but actually give you 50mins or less saying 30seconds left.If this wasn't bad enough the two numbers on back of card to call to complain are both unobtainable. What a rip off to treat people who have been loyal customers in the past. Will looking else where for my cards in future,I would advise others ...

I bought the lycatel card to call and they falsely claim to give me 170 call minutes for my destination but that is not at all through. I only call for a few minutes and they tell me that I have no call credits left. The company is very deceitful. I will not recommend to my friend. I am highly disappointed.

I have Lycatalk account. I introduced my dad. They advertise that anyone introduce a friend will be £10 top up. But they didn't did it for me and provided the reason that he is making calls to the same destination as I am. No one should trust Lycatalk for introducing and giving £10 reward.

Lycatel is the WORST calling card service I have ever used. They cheat you out of your money and do not give you the alloted time specified on the card. I tried to call America with a 6 pound card and didnt even get to use it for 30 mins. You can NEVER get through to customer service. Dont do it.

I'm a online customer of "LYCAHELL" . They cheat people out of their card credit. never buy them . if you read this meant you've been ripped already. if you consider buying it again don't , give your money to a stranger on the street , you'll feel better being £5 poorer. I hated the fact that people like myself buys a card to call our families and just like that people on the other side called customoer service is just so ignorant on you losing the time and money. There just don't seem an ...

I bought Uni Tel card from Lycatel and its had £6 credit on it to call Zimbabwe but after 11 minutes I was cut off - called customer services & they said they would refund - only to be refunded 25p. They are rip offs and should be reported - Will do my best to make sure they are reported to consumer council so they stop trading. Cheats!!

Lycatel cards sold in the UK are a rip-off of customers' money. I called their customer service and they told me of maintenance charge, connection charge and all the charges I have never seen on their advertising posters. For examples Calls to Sierra Leone mobile, The cards will tell you you have 120 minutes for a £5.00 card but you can talk only for 34 minutes at one go and not 120 minutes. However the worse will happen if you talk for 5 minutes and you try to call another number it might ...

Use phonecards all the time in Australia and find them very good value but was very disappointed with the cost to use this Lycatel card. On at last getting connected to Australia it said I had 20 minutes left and before I had even spoken it cut out.

this card from Lycatel is a complete rip off it tells you that you have 5oo hundred minutes you talk for 30 and the next day you find you only have 420 where the hell did the other 50 go?
all in all you only get about half the time you think you have.I think it is probably just as cheap to use your land line only thing about these cards is that you can use them on the go. If you were at least honest about the time you actually get it would not be as bad,as for trying to get through to your cust ...

I have used Uni Tel by Lycatel which costs GBP 5, for the past 2 years on a regular weekly basis. It tells you 144 mins but gives 90min and even 45mins most of the time. Called the customer service based in Chennai, India, they changed the topic quickly and tried to offer me their LycaTalk instead of solving the problem. By the way, Lycatalk is more expensive than O2's Your Country and the Lycatel Customer Service Guy had little knowledge about the worldmarket and tried to argue with me with his ...

In Canada we age getting Lycate cards. Although Lycatel cards gives about half of the advertised minutes, quality is better than from most of other phone cards. It is very difficult to get good line quality to Ukraine - Mobile. Perl form Lycatel is working perfect though. Another good card for Ulraine mobile is CiCi. But price is not so good.
