Plenty of room. Reliability second to none I have had 3 years and over 50,000 miles of trouble free motoring I am having a new Hyundai i10 next year.
Overall a brilliant car well equipted and very comfortable on a long run. Good on motorway driveing.

The Hyundai Matrix 1.6 GSI is a bad car with very low reliability, zero stability and low power.

Go for it. If you want a trustworthy car then the Hyundai Matrix is it. I have the auto version, which has given me 2 years totally free of trouble.

(many manufacturers see a cup holder vanity mirror (for the wife), mats, etc as extra's you'll pay for, Hyundai don't. Mine is a LHD though so it's a GLS, not GSI but ...

I brought it to replace a Rover 75 which I got rid of for obvious reasons. I thought I would have felt a bit short changed by changing to a Hyundai but not a bit of it, the Matrix is a great car. The ride is really comfortable and the handling through the bends of Devon is sure footed, the engine is a 1.6 (average 34 mpg) and doesn't feel as powerful as say a Ford ...
