    we had a weeks nile cruise on the odyssey had a fantastic time , food was great staff so helpful, our room spotless what more could you ask.iman the matra d very helpful when there was something on menu we didnt eat. bassen our egyptologist was lovely very infomative helpful and kind. we were,nt so keen on the sphinx sofitel when we got to cairo staff unhelpful they did,nt seem to care wont be going back there. would fully recommend nile cruise on the odyssey will be going again soon.

    We spent 3 weeks in Egypt booked through Longwoods who were excellent throughout.We had 7 nights on the Nile Oddyssey which was the highlight of our holiday.The food and service were superb.Our Egytologist Mehmet was both informative and entertaining.The evening entertainment was a bit naff with the exception of the Egytian night which was great.Overall it was a great experience and great value for money.

    We have just returned from a 2 week Egypt trip, taking in the Presidential Nile cruise - Nile Odyssey (4 nts) which we booked with Kuoni - this boat is not up to their usual standards of quality. The boat cabins were shabby, in need of full redecoration and updating, they were dirty and old, which was a real disappointment. The bathroom was cleaned once in the 5 days we were on it.     This is mine and my boyfriends first time to Egypt and i've got to say we really enjoyed our time here on the nile odyssey. The staff was really polite and friendly, they really did look after us on our stay. We think the food was really good and plenty of choice. We feel the entertainment on board could have been more, e.g throughout the day, we had a excellent Egyption theamed night, it was nice to see everyone join in on that.     I went on my first visit to Egypt in october 2006. I was a passenger on the Presidential Nile Odyssey. There is nothing i didn't enjoy about that holiday. It was fantastic. Our guide was fantastic and is now a dear friend. The staff on the boat were just so polite and friendy, they made you feel so special. I loved every minute of that holiday and i will be returning. Thankyou to all the staff x

    this is my second holiday on the presidential ms nile odyssey boat this time with a friend no family, looked after special diets no problem,booked through Longwoods who just went that extra mile to make a difference

    Longwood Holidays were excellent throughout. The Presidential MS Nile Oddysey was wonderful, the staff , the food, cleanliness, friendliness, the egyptologist was fantastic. As you can tell a wonderful experience and a fantastic holiday. The trip to Abu Simbel was not cheap but was worth every penny it is a breathtaking place.

    The staff on the boat were fantastic, they made the holiday on the boat. The food was 100% with loads of choice. The Egyption night was really good fun. The whole thing was just excellent.

    The Presidential Nile Odyssey was a really good experience, the tours off the boat were good, really helpful with anything we needed to know.

    We booked through Longwoods and the whole experience was wonderful and I would thoroughly recommend the Presidential MS Nile Odyssey & Longwoods to anyone thinking of booking a Nile cruise. The staff on the boat were fantastic, helpful & polite. Our Egyptologist was excellent, very knowledgeable. We found the cabin clean, tidy and the food was wonderful.

    Our Presidential MS Nile Odyssey cruise was booked through Longwoods and I cannot praise too highly the expertise of our Egyptologist Hossan, the excellent cuisine and friendliness of the staff. My only complaint is the food was so good I put on weight!

    Tremendous guide on the Presidential MS Nile Odyssey - made our experience so much better with the information he gave us about all the temples and monuments. The staff and crew on the Nile Odyssey were all so friendly, polite and courteous, making our cruise so enjoyable.
    The food was delicious (and plentiful!) I would recommend this trip to anyone - it was the best weeks holiday I have ever had. I hope everyone who goes to Egypt goes on a cruise from Luxor to Aswan and gets to experience th ...

    Unlike huge cruise ships, the Odyssey is a small ship with no more than a 120 rooms which it set a more personal atmosphere. The staff were great and the food was excellent.

    I wish other cruise companies would consider reverting to smaller ships. You feel welcome. The tour Guide was not only friendly but informative.

    Generally we found that shop keepers annoyed us no end. We would spend more money if we were allowed to choose or even have a look. With a little Arabic I managed to fenced them off and say no etc. At the end it was okay and we will go back to see more of the sites we didn't have time to see this time.

    Overall the cruise has been an amazing experience. I definitely recommend same to anyone considering this adventure...it is truly an amazing experience.To the entire crew of the Ms Nile Odyssey, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for your warmth and hospitality and making me feel as if i were at home. You guys are all amazing and keep up the great work. Hope to see you all again one day.

    Overall experience we enjoyed very much, we did feel pressured at the meal times to purchase drinks but I suppose if like us you mainly drank water the bill at the end of the week was not to bad. We met some lovely people from Wales whom were about our age range and they had been before so that was handy, we learnt a lot of tips. The heat was a bit oppresive at first but take a good sun hat and in some instances an umbrella I believe it shelters you very well and plenty of water and we are sure ...

    Presidential MS is a gorgeous boat inside; the outside could put you off though. A lot of the staff are really kind and polite and like to have a laugh. Amazing guide, the owner of the kitchen in the black suit was also really nice and kind. The rooms are plain but still a nice little cabin to sleep in. The boat was very clean and well presented and im making my family come back next year because i loved it soo much :)

    All of the crew was simply fantastic! From the persons at the reception desk to the staff in the restaurant, everybody was so kind and polite. Really, it's a great ship. I recommend anyone who plans on going on a Nile cruise to consider the MS Nile Odyssey as an option. You couldn't possibly be disappointed! All of the visits to the temples and other sites are very interesting, and the schedule is well balanced, too.

    Our first visit to Egypt saw us on the MS Nile Odyssey at the start of the holiday in Luxor. Our first impression on board was favourable. It was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and polite, and not pushy. There were no 'baksheesh' requests at anytime from anyone on board. The shop had fixed prices on everything and they were fair prices too. Everything was cool, calm and efficient. If only we had appreciated this at the time!

    Do not be put off by the odd bad review. The cabins may look a little tired (we had come from the Four Seasons hotel in Cairo) but the food, courtesy and service were just as good as there. The Odyssey is to be highly recommended and I hope you have Abdullah as your guide. He is a man who has stepped straight out of Ancient Egypt and brings the whole experience to life
