I've been reading through all the reviews on here and cant help but feel that GForces score is a bit unfair. I've shopped in there for years, and simply wouldnt go anywhere else.
In general thier prices for new releases are a couple of quid below the competition down the road, and their free game swap system keeps me going through the winter!
Their only problem I guess is that on really busy release days they dont always have the staff to man the phones properly - so you just have to go in and see them. Right enough, when I went down for COD the other day.. the queue was snaking out of the door - so I guess its understandable that they couldnt answer the phone lol!
All in all - a great wee shop.

I went into G-force in Glasgow a few days ago to buy a game for a friend at my work. When I walked in the man behind the till was playing a Playstaion 3 game with a head set on and wasnt paying attention to what was happing on the shop floor.
So I walked up to him and asked him for "Vandel Hearts" for the Playstation 1 and then looked at me in a puzzled way so I said it again and showed him and pointed at the game in the glass cabinet and it wasnt until he came out from behind the till he coul ...- Read Guest's review (242 words and 2 comments)

I only use the shop to purchase games, and from my experiences, they have offered supreme service. They release all new content 2 - 3 days prior to all other high street shops. Small shop, but that does not affect the purchase of games, which is my primary use of this shop. Would recommend it to anyone who wants new releases.- Read Guest's review (59 words)

I went in to G-Force today and spoke to someone who I thought knew what he was talking about.
I was querying purchasing a damaged x-box 360 with a Samsung drive to use for spares.
I was told that it wouldn't be a problem, there was some in stock and they were going to look one out for me.
As I was only on a tea break from work, I asked if I could collect it at lunch time. This I was told would be fine.
At lunch time, I went back to the store and was dealt with by another man. He went throug ...- Read Guest's review (191 words)

Some staff at g force are nice but I find some can be quite unfriendly, but this is no worse than any other shop. I enjoy the selection of older games they offer, though it is evident that they are only too keen to rip off the customer where they can. For example, new, imported and out of stock items are sold at unfairly inflated prices rather than at 'reasonably' inflated prices; which makes sense from a business perspective but it can be off putting. However, if you do want these rare or impo ...- Read Guest's review (105 words)

I go to G Force for almost all my games etc.The prices can be a little high sometimes. But it is still a better store then most of the other Main-street gaming stores. The Staff are very friendly and I have had games ordered into the store for me on a few occasions.I'd recommend it.- Read Guest's review (73 words)

I think G Force, Glasgow is the store made for the serious gamer. They seem to know all about the industry and they have ordered in hard to come by games for me at my request.- Read Guest's review (37 words)

I enjoy visiting G-Force on a regular basis for my gaming needs. The staff are extremely friendly and can answer most of any questions you have. As stated, the games are a little more expensive than usual (usually about £5 more).Overall a great place for your games and consoles and their repairs!- Read Guest's review (67 words)

The staff in G Force, Glasgow are excellent and offer more information about the products than the likes of Gamestation. The prices are competitive and they offer a 'swaps' system which is good value. They also offer repairs for computers and consoles such as PSP's etc where other shops do not. The shop is also great for more obscure titles for old and new consoles alike. overall a fantastic small firm and i shop here rather than elsewhere- Read Guest's review (78 words)

G-force is overly expensive for games as I found the prices of new games to be costing between £5 -10 more than Woolworths only 200 yards down the street.
When I went in one lunchtime (probably the busiest time of day) the staff were on lunch surprisingly and one guy left in the shop, playing whatever is hooked up and didn't ask if I needed help.
You can still find old games for SNES and mega drive etc but there actually quite expensive.
The trade your game in for another is a good ...- Read Guest's review (103 words)

i find G-force is the best gaming store for hard to find games such as dreamcast games and cool rare games for other consoles such as half life and phantasy star online series. I think their customer service is the best because they give there honest opinion and don't see you as a money bag. I remember my first console (when i was around 4 years old ) i bought the sega saturn about 10 years ago and i remember when i couldn't play it because i didn't have the right cable for my tv (this was sega' ...- Read Alex McQ's review (226 words)

Have shopped in G force for years and have always found the staff more than helpful. I like the swap system that they have in place. I would recommend Gforce to anyone I use the one in Motherwell mostly but would not hesitate to go into any of there stores.- Read keebo's review (60 words)

Male Manager/owner is very helpful in the Union Street G Force computer store. A great store for games, and most of the time they are willing to help. The store in Clydebank isn't as good, and probably would rate less, but nevertheless it was OK.- Read JadMock's review (125 words)

G-Force provide a much better service than Game and Gamestation. For one, they don't just sell whatever games are likely to sell the most. I found more obscure, superior titles on one shelf than I did in 10 different Game stores up and down the country!
The staff are always helpful, and whenever I've had a query, they have been more than happy to help, and also willing to discuss games with you on an intellectual level, unlike other stores who tend to talk down to you.- Read Kyuubi's review (86 words)

I purchased a second hand game, and the guy said it was scratched to bits, so he put it in the bin and gave me a brand new one for the price of a second hand one, plus the game I got from G Force in Glasgow was a collectors edition.- Read westy221's review (97 words)

Wife asked me for a suggestion for a Xmas present for myself, I had noticed that G-force were selling a PS2 light gun + game bundle for a decent price. She came back with the two separate items, which cost a tenner more: staff had told her that she would need to buy them separately, for some daft technical (ie, made-up) reason. The following day, I confronted one of the staff about this, asking for an explanation. He said nothing, and simply gave me a tenner out of the till.- Read pcbil's review (96 words)
