Just bought this rifle the other day for £110 and i got a £35 bsa scope that goes with the gun. Man have i had fun with it over these few days. Ive only being shooting it in my garden mind you by zeroing the sight in. But have being using different targets and its very accurate. The power on the gun is very good for the cost. Shot through and through both sides of a metal plant pot. So i think its enough power for a rabbit/ small game. So yeah i would recommend this gun to anyone... (read more)

I would like to comment on this rifle; it is my third airgun. I will never understand why Gamo discontinued this gem. At 750 fps, it has all the power needed to dispatch small game cleanly, and from what I read on this website and other places, it's been out of production for 3 years! The trigger is a bit creepy, but this model has a small attachment at the bottom of the trigger blade that, in my experience, helps the trigger pull seem smoother. I don't have a pull gauge, so I can't... (read more)

this is great! i have had a gamo shadow .22 for around a year now and it still gives me the same feeling the day i bought it. i have tried it at several different targets and sveeral different ranges now and it has performed brilliantly. targets have included; a paint tin lid, several softwood boards, a deoderant can, a ball from a ball pool and several furry creatures. it has passed straight through all of these targets with ease (i have seen knives have more trouble passing through butter!).... I read of some people who have some negative things to say about the Gamo Shadow 1000,, why, I'll never know. Build quality isn't up to scratch, cheap and nasty, inaccurate - they say. Well let's take a closer look. First, you don't pay anywhere near the price for it that you do with some of its rivals, so for a kick-off, it's probably the best value for money of nearly all the 1000fps air rifles (720-760 fps in .22), and it certainly looks well made and fits together quite well and as for... I both mine in Dubai Al Sayad City Center at 750 AED Gamo Shadow 1000 .22 Rifle. Very nice Black Finished and very accurate at 20 meters a group were to close in open sight tru glow is really effective in easy viewing. I love the one I've got. I am planning to put scope in the future. I will try to buy the RWS 48 in the future to compare the difference. (read more)

The .22 Gamo Shadow air rifle is a must have! Very strong and accurate. Smooth break barrel action and easy to load you chosen .22 pellet. This air rifle is a great looker with its deep black finish and its mouth watering design. For the money it's worth the Gamo Shadow (CSI) is well worth the purchase. (read more)

I purchased this Gamo Shadow .22 rifle because it seemed a good deal. I found one (.22 cal) on sale for less that $100 US. This particular package included and illuminated scope but no fixed sights. OK, no problem.
But wait! In trying to sight in the scope initially at about 30 ft, I could not get the elevation up to zero or horizontal zero closer than 6 inches to the left of point-of-aim. The scope mounts appear to mount it slightly canted to the right and they are not adjustable... (read more)

I bought the Gamo Shadow .22 three months ago. I scoped it with the Tasco Worldclass 3-9x32 rifle scope. I tried several pellets e.g RWS superpoint, hobby. H&N match, Gamo match and several local pellets but the Gamo Promagnum pellet suited it the most. With the Gamo Promagnum pellet I got the best groups. I recommend the Promagnum Pellet for the Shadow 1000. The Gamo Shadow 1000 is my forth airgun, it has a great value for money and it has many good points like its price. The Truglo... (read more)

Overall I like the Gamo Shadow Supreme .22 cal. The only thing I don't like is the trigger. It is a 2 stage with the 2nd stage adjustable. It still has way too much creep for my liking. I guess I am just spoiled by the Beeman triggers. I would like to get a GTX trigger for it but he is out of business. If anyone knows where I can pick one up let me know.
I have fired around 300 shots and it seems to be breaking in nicely. I shot 3 shot groups with 20 different pellets to see which it liked... (read more)

Purchased the Gamo Shadow Supreme in 22 cal, rifle came with a BSA 4x32 scope (not AO though). After cleaning all the shipping grease out of the barrel had the rifle/scope shooting dime sized groups out to 20 yards within 20 minutes. Light recoil and a very comfortable rifle to shoot. I have the shadow in 177 cal., which I love, but I was amazed at the accuracy and punch of the 22. This rifle is really enjoyable to shoot. I tried RWS Super Hollow points, Crossman premier hollow points,... (read more)

I have a S1K in .177 and was very pleased with it. Its seems very accurate and everything you want from a rifle that cost $118. Its a very nice tool for informal shooting.
I noticed that Compasseco Inc. had a sale on a Shadow Supreme in .22 for $115. I was just thinking if it was as good as the S1k and in .22 I got to have one. Me and couple of other Air rifleman from our club each bought one. It seems to be the same rifle as the S!k with some minor improvement a higher scope rail, and... (read more)

I exchanged my Shadow 1000 for this Shadow Supreme .22 in order ro take care of varmints. It causes more damage and kills more quickly (more humanely), and shot placement is not as essential as in the .177.
The effective range is actually as good as the .177 with good pellets (JSB Exacts) I guess due to the heavier pellet weight, and it also seems to have tighter groups at 50 yards than the .177, I think because the wind doesn't affect the .22s as much.
All in all, although the Gamo Shadow... (read more)
