Good Points: food exceptional, staff very friendly and more than willing to adapt the menu to suit
General comments: my husband and i have visited the Goa Balti on many occasion whilst my husband was based at tidworth. never once have we been disappointed!! now living in the Midlands we still find ourselves coming back for more. this is truly a wonderful eating experience, not just the food, but the staff and surroundings too.just wished we lived nearer!

It was a shame to visit the Goa Balti restaurant after good recommendations, to feel that we were in an overpriced school dining hall with virtually no ambiance and no music! The food was above average, but small portions of what seemed like a one-pot massala - general sauce that was mostly red in everything.- Read thebeaz's review (82 words)

The chef is quality. It is the best Indian food I have ever tasted. The restaurant is huge, and they have some good staff. It's worth the 15 mile drive we have to make to get to the Goa Balti in Eversleigh.- Read nit's review (92 words)

We've tried various Indian restaurants in Hampshire and Wiltshire, but always find the chicken tough or watery and the sauce thin and awful. At the Goa Balti the portions are slightly smaller than average, but far richer and full of flavour. Naan breads obviously home-made and the best I've ever tasted! We had starters as well as mains, and felt it was too much, unless you are very hungry! Interesting fact - the chef apparantly used to be chef to a Saudi Arabian sheik!- Read liesbet123's review (120 words)
