    The Alfa 166 3.0 is such a great car to drive and to look at. Very reliable smooth, quick and comfortable with great handling. So it's a bit juicy and not the softest ride, but is is the place to be. The sportronic box changes so smoothly in both auto and manual it puts my old Merc to shame. No rust problems and no mechanical ones. Use a good quality fully synthetic oil and change twice a year and these cars will go forever. I wish I had known how good they were before I bought this as I would have got 1 sooner. I have the velour seat version and the seats are more comfortable than the leather ones with endless electric settings. Brilliant!!!

    A great car to look at and even better to drive. A big car with a sports car feeling. Smooth V6 3.0 engine.
    Ok so it uses about a liter of gas per mile (Sweden) but thats not a problem for me because I don't use the car to drive back and forth to work each day!

    All worth it! Has too much spirit. Sounds truly insane but no matter how much this car eats your wallet once you get a taste, your addicted to this stallion.

    Have had the good fortune to own and therefore drive the following cars; Mitsubisihi Starion, Peugeot 405MI .16, Ford Cosworth 4 wheel drive(225 bhp), Ford Mondeo ST24 (brilliant engine) and various others, the Alfa excites me more than any of the above, as from day to day, you just don't know how brilliant this car could be?

    The Alfa Romeo 166 is fun to drive if you can afford it!
