    Good Points: Arranged car hire through emails, had a problem with five adults and four suitcases so wasn't sure if we could fit in! But the manager offered to provide us free transfers of our luggage to Skala if needed.


    General comments: Met at airport as promised by owner and his brother with a car for luggage if we needed, but managed to get it all in, so as they were driving back to Skala had someone to follow as it was my first time in Kefalonia. Car was a new Hyundai accent which was very comfortable, and half tank fuel so didn't need to go straight for fuel. Would recommend you give them a try if going to Kefalonia, with very good prices and no excesses etc and very helpful owners.

    Was met at airport, shown car controls and sorted paper work etc. Managed to get all our luggage in boot of Hyundai accent even though had four suitcases, but they had another car there if needed for luggage. As they were going back to Skala we also had a free escort which was handy as it was just getting dark!. Nothing seemed to much trouble, plenty fuel in car etc, new car in excellent condition, no excesses to pay

    Nothing seems to be a problem for them. Even booking a car less than 10 hours before arrival.
    This is the forth time of renting from Greekstones and the service and help is way beyond that of any other car rental company I have come across in my 59 years anywhere else in the world.
    They make you feel that you are part of their family.

    I have used Greekstones for the past 6 years and have always dealt with the Skala branch who I have found to be very helpful, especially during the Tanker strike in May 08 when it was ensured that we had sufficient fuel for our needs.

    After 4 days and no fuel on the Island (there was a strike on the mainland). We were just about empty but Greekstones got us fuel so while others were having to walk we drove. Top company.

    Really good service. Would recommend them to anyone needing a car that can do the job. A good friendly honest service and far better value than the other car hire companies (some are nearly twice the price) you get full cover on insurance and good advice on where to go on the island.

    I have been going to Skala for the past 5 years and have always hired cars from Greekstones . I have found staff to be very helpful and friendly people. Good choice of cars and also in good condition.

    I am lucky I hired a car from the correct company. I found them more professional than i expected them to be. They seemed very kind, helpful and understanding the situation we were for the first time visiting osland Crete. Imagine how stressful we felt until the staff explain us the way to our hotel and indicate the correct way to drive.

    We hired a Fiat Punto at less than a week's notice from Greekstones. I exchanged e-mails, and all the replies were dealt with within 24 hours, answering my queries in perfect English. The friendly representative met us at the airport as arranged, and dealt with the paperwork quickly and efficiently. With some companies, you find that the insurance is next to useless unless you pay a lot extra for CDW etc. With Greekstones it's simple, as it's all included in the very reasonable price.     We found Greekstones car hire in Greece to be very friendly and helpful. They could not do enough for us. We are going back this year, and we will be using their services again. They even got us the colour of car we wanted.

    Greekstones operate in Kefalonia and booking on the internet was very easy.
    I exchanged e-mails with the owner, Melis, and it was like dealing with an old friend.
    We were met at the airport as arranged, despite the long flight delay and the representative explained the map of the island and pointed out the attractions. She also gave a very thorough explanation of the car controls.
    The car was reliable and the price included a full tank of fuel, you just return it empty.
