I have down rated the rifle because foremost part of the cocking lever assembly broke a few years back. The part is a very brittle casting and obviously not strong enough with its web design. The part should have been solid and could have been with very little weight added. I do not have the capability of machining a part of this nature and I cobbled up a repair by bridging the break. It recently failed again and I have worked on it again but I have the awful feeling that it will be out of service soon and spending $2700 to replace this capability seems silly and I have no interest in the compressed air rifles. My advice to all those users of the FEB600 is to minimize the stress on this part by going through the pressurization stroke SLOWLY. The review is therefore mixed with the resulting rating of 5 out or 10. I would be wonderful of FWB had some of these parts around.
For many years I was very happy with my FWB 600. Ease of cocking and accuracy were fine. I liked that the pressure could be released by lifting the lever and I used this feature many times. By building my own lever mechanism for the breech I have been using a scope on my rifle for many years.

It is not just because the bluing is match grade, but also it is very deep bluing. It reminds me of an expensive paint job on a car that exceed the paint job that came from the factory when the car is new. The new FWB P700 got aw ...
