Bad Points: No autofocus on some of the cheaper Nikon SLR's

General comments: Superb lens, worth every penny, a must have! Very sharp even at 1.8, great for taking close-ups, good colour tones at slower speeds even in poor light. Everyone should have one in their kit, it's a complete no brainier.

When taking pictures in Norway of Rock drawings, it was very clear to me which photo's were taken with this lens, which photo's were taken with the Nikkor 18-35 and which photo's with the standars 28-80 kit zoom. This is the lens that made us decide to swap th ...

The Nikon 50 mm AFD f/1.8 35mm SLR lens is the lighter one, the less cumbersome, and the best one.
