really miss the large wheel on the newer ipod but this just isnt practicle anymore for modern living. Why have one when i can integrate it all on to my new iphone?

The iPod is OK but apple need to bring out some sleeker newer editions to really get the people buying.

There are a lot of music players around and this Apple iPod is popular but very over rated. It has some good games and plenty of storage memory.But it's very expensive and not very good value for money

The Apple iPod is very good when working, but if you get a faulty one, be prepared to send back. If you do buy one make sure you get from a reliable source where you can get money back or sent off to apple. My review may sound negative, and I assure you the iPod is the best, but the bad features are a tad annoying. If I had the choice again, I would still buy one, but the competition does seem to become more interesting.

When I first got my Apple iPod, it was a complete pain in the rear to get it set up on my computer. After talking to the half-retarded customer service reps (3 of them) for about 6 hours, I got it to work. Apparently their software isn't compatible with my Sony Minidisc player's software.

After getting it set up, it worked fine. Of the 3 iPods I've had, only one was a pain to set up so I guess it was a fluke. Anyways, the sound quality is very nice. My first one became super-scratched, so I have bought cases for all of my iPods since. I suggest you do too. The storage space is quite big, and you'll have a hard time filling it. It is also very easy to use and navigate.

I have experienced several occasions where the iPods would not turn on, would randomly glitch when charging, or other similar things. They're fairly glitchy, and I feel that Mac should have pulled the iPod off of the market to work out the bugs first. Their customer support is laughable, but most problems just fix themselves with time. Overall, its a pretty good player but not worth the money in the long run.

iTunes is also pretty cool. If you're like me, you don't like buying CD's for the inconvenience, not the price. Also, iTunes is cheaper than buying the CD in most cases. I've stopped pirating my music, since it is just as convenient but I'd rather spend the 99 per song or $9.99 per cd to be sure that it isn't infected with viruses =)

The Apple iPod MP3 Player is cool, pocket sized and very portable. I love apple gear - not so sure i'd have put up with the battery hassle with this product from any other company.

Love the Apple iPod portable MP3 player. But my Apple rep told me that those using Windows can download from Mediafour after installing a firewire port. Mediafour has a Beta version of their software that crashed my system so hard that I had to reformat my system. Yes, Apple is way ahead of the pack for the next six months. By the time media four perfects thier software, Sony and others will be up to speed. Wait until Mediafour perfects their software, or others catch up.
