    This compnay is a joke!

    I bought 27 domain names through them & decided to use their parking service [to generate some revenue] for the domain names not being used..big mistake!

    It took them 2 weeks to set the parking account up, which then got suspended after 4 days with no reason given!

    Now 2 months on [parking account STILL suspended] they still wont give a reason, so I'm in the process of changing the tags on ALL of my domains & moving them away from 123reg permenantly to my own hosting company.

    They have the WORST customer support I've EVER experienced!

    Ok this is a tricky one to write.

    123 reg offer a few services and depending what you want depends on if you should go with this company or not.

    Firstly domain registration and management: I've been using them for several years (possible as many as 9 now) for domain registration. We used to use dedicated-hosting their sister company for leasing our web servers and If you see the review i gave them in 2004 you realize I wouldn't touch them with a proverbial barge pole ;)

    But we stuck with 123 ...

    123-reg's sorry excuse for technical support is abysmal. It's disgraceful - I've had websites hosted with this company for nearly 10 years and I have never encountered such levels of incompetence.

    I have phoned them up, received stock replies in their support area, and still can't get the problem solved.

    I submitted my domain for their free Google Analytics automation service and they have erased all 15 of my websites...

    Not only that - I have not been able to access my sites for 6 days despi ...

    Pathetic, 123-reg kept bringing down my website without prior warning because the the bandwith was being used up, never had this issue previously

    but it seems that someone is stealing my bandwith and they don't want to do a thing about it other than sell me more bandwith.

    I purchased more bandwith as they advised and the site was down within 24 hours again.

    trying to run a business but they seem be completely unhelpful.

    I'm glad i will be leaving them soon as it seems to be one issue after ...

    123reg are terrible- they don't answer the questions you send them and when they do, they use standard "replies" which bear no relevance to your question. Every time I speak to anyone in customer services I get told a different "solution" - and none of them helped sort my problem out despite many many calls to their "helpline". I just want to forward my emails to a gmail account so I can pick them up when not in the office: surely a common request now that so many of us work in various locations ...

    Just bought a domain name from 123-reg to be told that I can only have one page on my site, to be made with their crappy 'instant site' builder or I can host a site if I pay a load more OVER hat I had already paid to get the site....

    DON'T USE THIS SERVICE THEY ARE CRAAAPP!!

    Disgusting service...Would not bother with this crowd now. I have been a customer for 7 years, and must say that they have gone downhill!

    A simple matter can become like a merry-go-round. Except there is no merry with 123-reg!

    Upon purchasing an instansite package with 123-reg I was immediately struck with the problem of not being able to access the instant site editor, i rang the helpline and they were able to resolve the issue, although the agent could have been more polite as he seemed to think i had no idea what I was talking about!     After many years with 123-reg, (for domain registration and domain & email forwarding), I finally needed support because important emails were going missing. They did not understand the problem - even although I had done most of the diagnostics (I have a technical background). They would not check their server logs to confirm receipt of the test email, and often answered my request by simply pasting a page from the FAQ.     123-Reg took about 300quid for a rake of .es domain names then never registered them.
    I have documentary proof of this including their dated invoices.
    I later found out that you need a Spanish ID number to register them, therefore it seems impossible for them to legally sell them, especially as they dont have a field for "Spanish ID number" when you book them. Yet they continue to advertise them.

    Im going bonkers with their "customer service" team at the moment telling me id be refunded 5 days ...

    unfortunately i hadn't seen this review site before buying,123-Reg have terrible web templates and i can't change them - thats more than enough to make me leaveterms and conditions call you can not get a refund :(

    123-Reg customer service is of the worst i have encountered. Spent a fortune on phone bills trying to clear up a bill i was sent. Every time i phoned i spoke to different people where i had to explain the problem over and over again. Took over two months to get the problem sorted.

    Domain management and registration is easy to use on 123-Reg and manage and was very pleased, until I lost my domain because they failed to renew it. They charged me for the renewal but never renewed it. My website now belongs to sedoparking and I have lost years of work. Of course they have offered to refund the few pounds I paid for the service but should no other concern. Be careful of this company.

    123-Reg is a great company for domain names (I've not tried their other services). You can get domains a little cheaper from other companies, but for me the small extra cost is well worth it as you get a very powerful control panel and editing domain name data is always fast to go through the internet.

    I am running a site through 123-Reg which has high video, photo and audio content, and the webspace and bandwidth simply isnt' high enough for my needs-which is a big disappointment as I am very happy with the service i get just now. I will be moving to get a bigger space and more bandwidth, but will keep using then for other projects in the future.     I have been with 123-Reg for over a year and have spent many hours e-mailing my problems to the help centre just to get completely worthless suggestions as a response. The package I chose claimed to be fully customizable but in actuality was pretty far from it (my website sold many differenty things of varying sizes shapes and weight all over the world). I was only given 3 postage options to work with.

    People usually only write these reports if they have had complaints or problems. They are usually very biased. Perhaps this will put the record a bit straight
    Thank you 123, I am a very satisfied customer.

    Just one small thing. I would like to use php and 123 don't have it, unless I spend more money and go to their sister site webfusion. but that is not a fault of 123-reg, its just me being mean with my money.

    123-Reg is easy to use but I thought support response is very poor both in quality and time - still waiting 2 days later. May take over a week for response.
    Moving all my domains now, had enough.

    123-Reg has very fast support% uptime is very close to 100%. I have a good 3 years experience with 123-reg.co.uk. They hardware seems to works pretty fast, and theyr support is great. I recommende it to everyone.

    The only response I got was auto-generated answers that had no relevance to the questions I had put to them. I then waited for a response from an agent which never materialized. I have asked for a refund which has been refused. I have now moved my site to another hosting company and would never use this company again. Had I known about the appalling lack of support and how difficult it is contact them at all I would never have considered them for hosting. There are some very good company's out t ...
