I have always found their site incredibly difficult to use, but to be expected as am not that technical. However my colleagues who are technical also found it confusing. So fed up we tried to cancel all our subscriptions but kept being sent round the houses and all instructions didn't work. Obviously they don't want you to cancel so make it difficult. I am totally new to setting up a website and some of it seemed pretty daunting. I needn't have worried because the three times during my setup that I had to talk to the support staff they were extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. They put my mind at rest and I feel confident that if I have a problem at any time they will help me with it. I have been with 123-reg for years, I knew it was a mistake when I first started having trouble with them years back, but stuck with them due to lack of time and will power to change. Now I am regretting it all over again. They tempt you with cheap domains. If all you ever do is leave the domain with them, you may be okay. I bought a domain a few months ago. I tried to log in the other week, and I was told my account doesn't exist. I checked through my emails and found confirmation of my username and log in. I tried to request a password reset as it wouldn't work, and was told my account does not exist still. My next step was to contact their support via their website, to be told to call a 0845 number to find out what the problem is. If you have not deleted my account, then you can obviously email my log in information to my registered email address [removed]. This is the email address I received confirmation of my account (dated 18/01/2013), which I am told is not registered with you when I try to log in, or try a password reset. A payment of £8.38 was also made to you on 21/01/2013.

I work here at 123-reg. We do aim to make our website as easy to use as we can. I would like to hear some more about the parts you have found difficult so I can look for ways in which we can make improvements.
In regards to the cancellation process, we do want this to be straight forward for customers. If you could let me know which product you had with ourselves I will be able to see how we could make the cancellation process clearer.
I am sorry to hear you did have a wait on the phone. We do aim to answer calls as quickly as we can, however at times lines do get busy and take a little longer than we would like to.
