    After many years with 123-reg, (for domain registration and domain & email forwarding), I finally needed support because important emails were going missing. They did not understand the problem - even although I had done most of the diagnostics (I have a technical background). They would not check their server logs to confirm receipt of the test email, and often answered my request by simply pasting a page from the FAQ. Each time they would simply close the support call, so I had to open a new one and explain everything again. I have tried to resolve this issue with them for over three months, and got nowhere.

    A poor service desk is a good reason not to use a company, but if you also can not trust that you will get your important emails such as banking, bills, shops, etc. then you had best not use the service.

    I would therefore now go out of my way to NOT recommend them.

    123-Reg took about 300quid for a rake of .es domain names then never registered them.
    I have documentary proof of this including their dated invoices.
    I later found out that you need a Spanish ID number to register them, therefore it seems impossible for them to legally sell them, especially as they dont have a field for "Spanish ID number" when you book them. Yet they continue to advertise them.

    Im going bonkers with their "customer service" team at the moment telling me id be refunded 5 days ...

    unfortunately i hadn't seen this review site before buying,123-Reg have terrible web templates and i can't change them - thats more than enough to make me leaveterms and conditions call you can not get a refund :(

    123-Reg customer service is of the worst i have encountered. Spent a fortune on phone bills trying to clear up a bill i was sent. Every time i phoned i spoke to different people where i had to explain the problem over and over again. Took over two months to get the problem sorted.

    Domain management and registration is easy to use on 123-Reg and manage and was very pleased, until I lost my domain because they failed to renew it. They charged me for the renewal but never renewed it. My website now belongs to sedoparking and I have lost years of work. Of course they have offered to refund the few pounds I paid for the service but should no other concern. Be careful of this company.

    123-Reg is a great company for domain names (I've not tried their other services). You can get domains a little cheaper from other companies, but for me the small extra cost is well worth it as you get a very powerful control panel and editing domain name data is always fast to go through the internet.

    I am running a site through 123-Reg which has high video, photo and audio content, and the webspace and bandwidth simply isnt' high enough for my needs-which is a big disappointment as I am very happy with the service i get just now. I will be moving to get a bigger space and more bandwidth, but will keep using then for other projects in the future. My website is online 99.99% of the time and is reliable and fast, the support has been good and the value for money is good.Great except for the s ...

    I have been with 123-Reg for over a year and have spent many hours e-mailing my problems to the help centre just to get completely worthless suggestions as a response. The package I chose claimed to be fully customizable but in actuality was pretty far from it (my website sold many differenty things of varying sizes shapes and weight all over the world). I was only given 3 postage options to work with.

    People usually only write these reports if they have had complaints or problems. They are usually very biased. Perhaps this will put the record a bit straight
    Thank you 123, I am a very satisfied customer.

    Just one small thing. I would like to use php and 123 don't have it, unless I spend more money and go to their sister site webfusion. but that is not a fault of 123-reg, its just me being mean with my money.

    123-Reg is easy to use but I thought support response is very poor both in quality and time - still waiting 2 days later. May take over a week for response.
    Moving all my domains now, had enough.

    123-Reg has very fast support% uptime is very close to 100%. I have a good 3 years experience with 123-reg.co.uk. They hardware seems to works pretty fast, and theyr support is great. I recommende it to everyone.

    The only response I got was auto-generated answers that had no relevance to the questions I had put to them. I then waited for a response from an agent which never materialized. I have asked for a refund which has been refused. I have now moved my site to another hosting company and would never use this company again.     I am disgusted with 123-reg and am desperate to find a way of contacting them to discuss these issues. This 123-reg hosting package does not deliver what it promised. I have tried to use their support service and it has been near impossible to get a reponse from them. I am left with no way of contacting this company (unless you know different) to ask for a full refund. I would never use 123-reg again

    Good for a small, basic website, but if like me you want to host photos, videos and podcasts they do not offere enough space really.

    I will be moving ot their partner company Webfusion to see if they are any better.

    I signed up for a contract with 123-reg.co.uk .It was very important for me to set up a website quickly which worked. Unfortunately there are times when my website is unavailable and this is losing potential clients. It is very frustrating and within 3 weeks of setting up my website I am looking to switch my website to another company. I would avoid this company if your website is in any way business related!

    As in my previous reviews everything the club wanted me to do has worked perfectly.
    All the other club members are very happy with our site and think the cost is very reasonable.

    I will be moving to a better host as soon as my current deal expires. They also do not offer enough space for a web page which has a very large amount of media on it. A lot of room for improvement... Unreliability, very very poor customer service and technical support (didnt have a clue about several basic questions) and sometimes very slow service.
    Well recommend 123-reg.co.uk.

    Everything seemed fine until I had a problem, this is when things started to go wrong in a big way. They either fixed the problem then denied it ever existed or denied there was a problem and tried to fob me off with a group of set answers which rarely corrected the problem. I've already started to transfer my websites to another hosting company and I'd wished i'd done it a lot earlier. I suggest people give this company a wide birth, i wish i had seen these reviews earlier.

    As far as I am concerned I could not find what information I needed to tell me what my packages support until I payed for it in full... I have tried to call 123-reg and Pipex but no one could help me at all it seems... not happy with 123-Reg at all and do not recommend this web hosting company!

    I've signed up for their instant web page. Personally not happy with it at all. They have their headburner fixed which means we have to accept photographs they provide - not mine as far as I am concerned. I have to have a face of someone else or some scenery from NY for my website. I wanted a refund after 7 days however it seems they would not give me one... Therefore I do not recommend 123-Reg.co.uk.
