We have had a Bradcot Active for 2 years now. It has been used regularly and we have had no problems at all. It is well made with strong material, has been out in all conditions and withstood all the British weather could throw at us. It has kept out wind and rain, even at the zips which are strong and work well. If the awning is erected correctly without pulling too tightly on the zips it works perfectly. We found the staff at Bradcot very friendly and willing to answer any queries. If... (read more)

We have had a Bradcot awning for 6 years. It has been used frequently and performed well in wind, rain, ice and snow as well as in very hot weather abroad. Bradcot Active caravan awning is nice material and has attractive looks. Windy weather sorts out the men from the boys in awnings and all the flaws in this awning come out in such conditions. We had to add anchor points to ours to secure it to the ground. The plastic anchors for the ladders just snap. There is not enough of them to hold down an awning - ours was 975 cm - even with a storm kit applied. In the end, I made so many modifications that it could withstand a Storm 10, but it cost a... I have the Bradcot Active awning with 2 annexes, it is a nice looking piece, erects easily very nice poles which are easy to erect.
But!!! All the ties are cheap plastic and so very flimsey I can not see them lasting the life of the awning.
Within a few months the guys on the annexe had come off.
It is sad that they used cheap ties for a nice awning
