This product is brilliant - you DO get hungry obviously, as you are eating much less - Im not sure why people are saying this is a bad thing? The reason you are wanting to lose weight is because you are eating too much. So therefore you ARE going to be hungry regardless of what diet you start. This hunger gets less and less as the days go by. And yes you are hungry but your not weak and unenergetic like you are if you havent eaten because your body IS getting what it needs in the shakes. I dont have the snacks in between as i think i am going to be hungry anyway so id rather go the whole hog. I drink diet coke alot as it fills you up and is only 1 calorie. In the evening i have a small meal with the largest piece on my plate being the meat. But once you are used to controlling your hunger and not needing to eat as much as you did, a small healthy meal will fill you up straight away. I try not to eat after 6pm. I am only 8 and a half stone anyway so will lose weight slower (i wanna lose a bit for my holiday) but i have already noticed the difference (its been 4 days) whether this is 'water weight' or fat i dont care ive lost weight and very quickly. People who say they are not losing weight are simply just NOT following it properly - your calorie intake is CONSIDERABLY lower on this diet so you WILL lose weight, if u have the odd chocolate, or miss a shake and have the odd meal, or use full fat milk instead of skimmed, DONT be suprised when you dont lose the weight. Follow this Slim Fast Diet properly and you will lose weight - what you put in you'll get out simple as that

I used slim fast diet for two weeks plus exercise. I followed the plan exactly as instructed and lost no weight. The first week I replaced the two meals and ate for the third and walked 15 miles in total over the week. I gained one pound after first walk which took 3 days to lose again and then remained the same for the rest of the week. The second week, I gained one pound after the I walked and it took the rest of the week to lose the pound again. So in two weeks, I lost nothing overall.

I used the Slim Fast diet plan last summer and dropped about 6 lbs in 3 weeks, perfect just before I went on holiday. I found it really easy to follow, and the shakes filled me up fine. I liked the taste esp. cafe latte and vanilla shakes. The snacks are really tasty too. I thought they were really cheap, much cheaper than y usual sandwich from M & S any way... and it worked. Bonus.

I did put the weight back on afterwards, but I'm sure that was because I went back to my old (bad) eating habits. ...

Slim Fast Diet is fab! i really want to lose weight quick for my holiday and this is the way to do it. I wanted to do the cambridge diet which is soups and shakes but is £35 a week which i csnt afford. so instead im having a slimfast shake for breakfast and lunch and then any tin of soup i want for tea. you do get hungery but it gets easier once your stomach shrinks just drink plenty of water, no added sugaer juices and diet fizzy drinks, plenty of drink helps you feel full so you dont fe ...

I think that anyone who is about to start a weight-loss program must first, practise to drink 8 to 10, 10oz. of water each day. Water fills you up so much that there is little room for anything else. It did took me 3 weeks to comfortably consume all that water but now my head is clear and I really think that drinking water is the most underated and most effective conjunction with any weight-loss program.

I would recommend to have a healthy diet and do exercise instead of using Slim fast products. Real food (no milkshakes) fills you up much more and it is also cheaper. It doesn't satisfy your hunger.
You drop off weight quickly but as soon as you get out of the slim fast products, the weight comes back on.

I really did not like the Slimfast diet. I was so hungy, i found that the milkshakes just did not fill me. I was following the correct way of doing the diet and although weight was dropping off I found myself so hungry that I has to give on up slimfast and try a different diet that was more suitable.

I love Slim fast!! Out of all of the diets ive tried, this is always the one i come back to. In fact, i dont know why i bother trying anything else cus i know for a fact this one works!! Slim Fast is a rip off.
The chunky soup meals cost more than a normal can of chunky soup.
The chunky soup meals contain more calories than a normal can of chunky soup.
The chunky soup meals contain large amounts of sugar, salt and cream.
The chunky soup meals all contain pork, including the vegetable and tomato varieties, so they are not suitable for Vegetarians, Jews or Muslims.
Unlike the can round a normal can of soup, Slim Fast packaging is generally not recycleable.

I never ever thought i'd be able to do slim fast because i hated the idea of not having solids. But i got to a point where i couldn't fit into my latest batch of clothes i'd bought with my ever increasing size and thought it was worth a go. I've tried having one low fat sarny for lunch before but i wound up really hungry. I honestly don't get as hungry on slim fast. I think they must just put the right stuff in it. The reason it works for me is because in my office job and being a veggie if ...

I started the Slim Fast shakes in October 2005 and just before Christmas I slowed down the shakes and continued to calorie count ie still made a super lunch worth of 600 calories and making sure that I did not exceed 1200-1400 calories in a day.
Before Christmas I lost just over 2 stone. Over Christmas I had little treats, as a little of something stops the cravings and fulfils the need.
To be honest, I did not really excercise through this, except from walking the children to school and back ...

This is about the 4th time in my life that I have had a go at the Slim Fast diet (I am in my 30s).

The first time I tried it was when I was 21, and I found that by combining the Slim Fast diet with regular exercise produced incredible results. I went from 95kg to 85kg in 3 months. The product I used was the Hot Chocolate, which can be difficult to locate in shops, but you can get it on the Boots website.

Needless to say, when I came off that diet, the weight I had lost came back on over t ...

As a replacement for some meals I find the convenience of Slim Fast excellent. Tastes ok too!

Lack of protein and extreme nature of the product would concern me if I lived on it for very long.

At the end of the day, the easiest way to loose weight is to eat a bit less but regular and exercise a bit more. I've lost over 2 stone but its taken me 18 months to do it. I tried the Atkins first and felt really ill very quickly. I also use Trim 24/7 tablets that have helped.

When dieting, we need plenty of protein. Slimfast only provided 10 grams per serving. That is way too low. Muscle will be lost that way along with equal amounts of fat. You should only drop 2 pounds per week for best results, but there are ways to maintain most of your muscle when crash dieting. You MUST take additional protein into your diet with Power Whey Protein. Follow the instructions. Also L-Glutamine is needed to prevent your muscle from being lost.

I kept my muscle because I took soy ...

The Slimfast plan involves having two of their meal replacements a day, 3 x 100 cal snacks and a 600 cal meal for your dinner.

I personally love the powdered vanilla shake which you make up with 250ml skimmed milk. Tip: add 2tsp of coffee to the shake and make yourself a cappucino shake for breakfast, I have one every morning!

2 weeks ago I tried the pastas. They're lovely! Florentino is my favourite, they're really simple to make up too!

The chocolate caramel snack bars are really g ...
