I've have never been on a diet and thought I would give Slimfast a go to get in shape for my hols, so me and my partner decided to do it together, that was 8 days ago today.
So far I've lost 1 stone and my partner has lost around 1 stone 4 lbs, the shakes are on offer at Boots atm £2.95 so bargain, the strawberry and chocolate shakes are nice but vanilla and caramel are really sickly and gross, dunno about the latte flavor as I don't like coffee. Don't get ripped off.... Buy the "Superdrug Meal Replacement Shakes" they are only 4.99 (or 2 for 6.99). They taste like a normal milkshake and are so so tasty :) I simply don't see the point in paying any more for what is the same diet AND why not drink the nice shakes :) (read more)

Bought 2 Slimfast Milkshake Powder tins on offer in Boots Feb 2013, i must say i am suprised with the results ive had so far. I was 11st 1lb (5ft 2) and am looking to lose around a stone. In my first week i lost 4lbs, second week 2lb and this last week i have lost a further 2lbs. I've been on the Slimfast 3-2-1 Plan for quite a while. I've also just started taking it this year as a new years resolution to lose 35ibs. In the past 6 months I lost 33 pounds the good old fashioned way. Watching what I eat and daily exercise. I feel awesome but still want to lose 10-15 more to be at the weight I want. I still exercise (run 2 miles) daily but the watching what I'm eating hot old once summer came. I just had my first shake, I used green top semi skinned milk and the rich chocolate powder. I am not a fan of milk/milkshakes as it is but I have heaved a lot drinking it, will the sickness go away after a few more shakes or will I constantly be like this? Ive just completed my 1st week on slimfast and ive lost 4.5lbs, i am so happy, i normally eat from when i wake up til when i go to bed, now i have a shake for breakfast, 1 for lunch, 600 calorie dinner and 3 snacks, normally 2 fruit and then a milky way of french fries. i havnt felt hungry and have been drinking plenty of water which i normally dont drink. im looking forward to losing more weight. I'm 16 years old and I have always hated the way i look, the only wish I have ever had is to lose weight. I was skeptical about the slim fast diet and I had very little support from my parents but after 2 weeks I lost half a stone. I have never been happier and I will definately be continuing on this diet. I have been on slimfast for about a week now and have found I have lost 4/5lbs! I am always hungry so the thought of having no breakfast and no lunch - just shakes worried me a bit. I have lost 26.6 lbs in a little over a year. I know that sounds SLOW but will admit to taking a HUGE break last fall/winter when my new store opened. Got back on track in Jan 2012. Started the slimfast diet on Monday, it is now Friday and I have lost 5lb! Didn't expect this really happy! I started the Slim Fast diet 14 days ago and I have dropped 13 pounds so far. I am very overweight and not that active, I have tried every other diet out there and always give up! I have been having a huge leafy salad with chicken, steak or fish. I fill up on the salad easily, I have various different types of lettuce, spring onion, grated carrot, cherry tomatoes, Radish and low fat salad cream.I dont eat any bread, potatoes or pasta and I also only drink water and Dandelion tea, I have now lost 16 pounds and feel great.

I have cut out bread, pasta, rice and potatoes but this is more down to my issues with these items than what should or should not be eaten. I have fish, chicken, steak with salad or steamed veggies. I am drinking lots of water and dandelion tea. I am still losing and have been on the diet since 4/1/12 ans so far have lost 17lbs, i think this would be higher if i was more active but as i suffer with my back this is difficult. The first few days are very hard on this eating plan but when the lbs melt away it feels worth it.

I started slim fast 2 weeks ago today. Its been great! easy to follow and the 3-2-1 format works for me as it takes away the temptation from the petrol station or nipping out for lunch from work. I've gone from 12st 1 to 10st 4, and I'm still working towards my goal. I feel fantastic. I eat porriage for breakfast, WW snack around 11, slim fast shake at 1, snack again at 3, and a healthy meal combined of 50% veg at dinner time. Davina McCall super body workout is by far the best fitness DVD I have ever tried, and I lose around 5lb a week when I do it 5 times. Really should try it, it's fantastic. This is my 4th week into the slim fast plan. Not really kkeping track on scales, but in the last moth, I have been able to fit in to my old trousers. I was dieting for a couple of weeks before, so I think this helped, but found myself falling off the wagon a lot. Had been on Slimfast for a week and only realised last night that this could be what is causing my stomach problems - lots of wind, funny noises coming from my belly, terrible nausea, weak and tired - thought i had a stomach bug of some sort! I think it sounds like you are lactose intolerant. I am but only if I have milk on a daily basis. The symptoms are all the same. Try mixing it with soya.

Have been doing the diet for 10 days now, and I love it. It works because it's so easy to stick to. I've tried so many other diets but I give up or they don't give me results quickly enough.

I have been on slimfast for 2 weeks now and have lost 11lbs- I've followed the 3-2-1 plan pretty much to a T and have been starving! I started this plan about a week ago because I just want to be skinny again. I haven't been on the scales or anything but I can tell a difference in the way that I feel. I take a Women's Ultra active multivitamin pack from GNC and drink a shake and coffee for breakfast. I have been on the slimfast diet for 12 days and cannot understand why I havn't lost any weight! Two days into the diet I did start my period which lasted for 7 days. Hi - Just wondring if you have been tested for thyroid problems? I too was always slim, then gained a lot of weight and found it difficult to lose. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and since getting my medication correct, I have been able to lose weight more easily. If you feel more sluggish than usual and just don't feel yourself, I would say ask the doctor as they sometimes do not test for it unless you request it. Apols if you have been already tested for this!

After reading a mixture of reviews, both positive and otherwise, regarding slim-fast I felt I should possibly contribute my experience with the plan. I have lost 5st on slim-fast and kept it off for the past 18months. The slim-fast plan worked for me as it fitted easily into my lifestyle. Although I would recommend this diet it will only work, as with all diets, if it is easily adapted to your lifestyle. I've recently started using these slimfast shakes and I'd recommend them to anybody wanting the kickstart into loosing weight. Particularly mentally, as restricting yourself to two replacement shakes as meals will often keep me going and looking forward to my main meal!

I've been doing two replacement Slimfast shakes a day with a healthy dinner for about a month now and so far I've gone from 15st 3lbs to 13st 11lbs. Very happy with that. I have been following the slimfast diet for 4 days so far and have already lost 2lb which im really happy with. The 3-2-1 concept is really easy to follow and has actually forced me to eat regularly instead of coming home from work hungry from not really eating properly and just ordering a takeaway! Now im not a big fan of milk but the flavours of the milkshakes are lovely and its not a chore at all to drink. Im yet to feel 'starving' on this diet unlike when ive followed weight watchers,... ive just started slim fast monday,been on it for 5 days tomorrow,ive lost 5ibs already,yes i am hungry but i love my food,taureans do!!!!but it has given me the strenght and encouragement to carry on and ill just have to be hungry!!!i miss cakes and greggs,but so what i need to lose weight,been through doctor,weight watchers,low fat food and only ever lost 2 pounds over months,i love the taste too,they are obviosly better than they used to be,much creamier than before,please take my word for...
