Good Points: Good German quality, my Haenel is 46 years old and still shot.

Bad Points: Low power, +/- 400 fps

General comments: Haenel 49a, cal. 4, 4 mm BB only, repeater. Load as standard cocking riffle. Available 6 or 10 shot magazine. Accuracy 15mm/10 m group (1/2" at 30 ft.)
My Haenel (46 years old but in good condition) shot an average 400 fps (120 m/s).
Light and easy to operate, excellent beer-can killer. Haenel-Suhl factory (Deutsche Democratic Republic, Europe) end produced in 1961. Now it is possible to buy only as second hand, that good German rifle.

The rifle is lightweight and handles well. The gun seems well made, and looks like it well provide years of service free shooting. When fire, it sounds like a poof of air. It is even quieter than a Walther Model 55, w ...
