Good Points: Amazing Stadium Right in the City Centre
Bad Points: Parking. Not as cheap as it could be.
General comments: I've been to the Millennium Stadium twice now and it's a fantastic place. It's the best stadium in the UK. A great design, high levels of safety and helpful stewards.
The noise from the fans is deafening and even louder with the roof closed. I've had seats on both tiers and the view is great. There are big TV screens up above the goals showing live play and replays of goals.
Visiting (football) fans are segregated on the M4, but parking wasn't easy. There are official park'n'rides but we would then have been dependent on a bus to get back, so we parked in a shoppers' car park.
The restaurants, pub and bars are all geared up for the invasion, and we had a superb meal before the kick off in a high street restaurant with lovely service. The pubs were just as good, and there were also big bars in the Castle grounds, set up by the sponsors, Carling.
The match was exciting and the atmosphere first class. Access and egress were straightforward. Police were a big presence but were very relaxed and friendly.
Wembley is going to have to be really good to beat the wonderful Millennium Stadium.

Cardiff, Millennium Stadium - Cardiff is brilliant. I went there for the football match and its great. I would love to live there because it's so cool and the Millenium Stadium is fantastic. The atmosphere is great and I would love to go again.

Fabulous structure with good facilities, the best stadium in the UK at the moment! Don't really have a decent enough rugby or football team to grace the surroundings but hey who knows what the future holds!? A great venue for when the English come to visit for the football!!!
