I went with them for cable and phone package for anytime, after a month the bill went up nearly £9, queried that and was told it was a charge for mobile calls which I don't use, asked them to remove it. Can't do that as it's part of your contract. Fine so I told my wife ring your mates mobiles after all I.m paying £9/month for it. The bill has come in for this month and it's £73.00. “Diabolical Web Mail and Customer Service”

I am absolutely appalled that I can't ever get through to anybody in authority other than the call centre staff. Over the last six months I have had to contact Plusnet about the terrible service that I was getting. I upgraded to fibre with lots of hassle but in the end the internet speed is much better. Fake review are just plain stupid ,no one in their right mind would pay for "up to 76mbs" fibre boadband which Plusnet offer and only get 9mbs ADSL speed which this reviewer claimed to get :P

I have been plusnet customer for over 3 years. Recently they upgraded to optic fibre in my area. the day they were to upgrade, plusnet was going to send me new hub, although upgrade went ahead and new hub never arrived, after calling them we were told that company had upgrade too early and new should with us in next 24 hours, 3 days later been told we have sent another hub, no internet for 3 days, I have kids suppose to be doing exam revisions, I am recovering after brain surgery. we are told… Read Full Review

These people constantly take "extra money" for apparent use outside of allowance. We have to constantly call them and challenges the extra charges, which are always refunded as they are always unjustified. This is presumably how they make their money, by creaming off small sums from a large number of people. I have been with PlusNet sincer Jan 2012. The call centre answer times have steadily been getting worse. I am changing supplier. But they do send many obstacles into your path incuding telling you of extra charges if you close your account

Well i've had no problems getting through to Plusnet customer service average time 5 mins mornings evening longer sometimes up to 15 mins :( .
You want to try Talk Talk or Virgin call centres in India wait for ages only to speak to someone incompetent fool that cant even understand you.
One day i'm going open a ISP business in India and have the call centre in Scotland see how they like it .

My email service got taken over by them years ago but last year the service has occasionally been impossible slow to use. Last two months has been atrocious; having to sit staring for 5 mins just to see if an email gets sent or gets dumped so I need to type it again. I'm astonished to see that Plusnet only have 2 stars here. They have been fantastic for me from right before I signed up to present. They managed to change my allocated phone number with them to the one I wanted, they answer the phone in no time, they speak and understand English, (not a foreign call centre for a welcome change), they gave me an unbelievably good deal and their website works well, although I'm only there once in a blue moon. Plusnet make a big thing of their customer service, and I've certainly encountered worse in the phone/broadband sector, but they do seem to have got worse over the past year or so. Annoyingly, they have got rid of their web form, which was a handy way to report non-urgent issues at your convenience, and the queues when you phone them seem to be getting a lot longer, maybe because more people now have to call them for that reason. When I asked to port my old number nobody told me they were having problems.I was expecting the porting process to take 1 to 2 days but what happened is that my old network has disconnected my number and more than 24 hours later PN still have not ported my number. I left the nightmare that is TalkTalk to come to PlusNet due to their glowing reviews on line. I had nothing but problems with them from the start.
