    Good Points: The weather.

Bad Points: Food, drink, pool area, and beach.

General comments: The Sun Palace hotel, Psaidi claims to be a 4* all inclusive property. On the day we arrived we made the effort to attend breakfast. We should have stayed in bed as the breakfast consisted of boiled eggs, scrambled eggs that looked like vomit, cereal which had a dead spider in it and the milk was hot and was very similar to carnation milk. there was no toast on the menu. Lunch consisted of salad, loads and loads of salad on drenched in mayonaise. There was even salad made out of the previous days left over vegetables & brussel sprout salad. The main courses always consisted of a fish dish, a veal or pork dish and a vegetarian dish. One day they had veal curry on the menu and you could have mashed potatoes with it or pasta, no rice or chips in site.

The pool area was quite nice with plenty of sunbeds. The only problem was that the bar only served drinks in glasses no plastic in site. There was numerous breakages and accidents both by children and adults. There was even broken glasses in the pool on 2 seperate occassions.

The free bar consisted of beer, vodka, brandy, gin, Ouso and for the children there was Cola, Canta or lemonade, none of which where diet.

The snacks served at 3pm where biscuits, ice cream, tea and coffee. No burgers, chicken nuggets, pizzas etc that are the usual snacks in an all inclusive complex.

Lastly the beach which was only a couple of minutes walk, down a dirt track and a dried up lake that was infested with flies, was covered in large stones and there was even an extremely large dead tortoise on the beach. The water was not to nice at all and had a large number of eels swimming about in it.

I hope this information can help people not to visit the Sun Palace in future. They have a lot of work to do on this hotel to make it the 4* it claims to be.
