This is my first bigger bike 750 supersports ducati 2002 have pilot powers on front and rear, even through winter my front which is on the tread bars is still offering very high grip at speed.Recommend these tyres.

These are great tires. They are the same compound as the pilot power 2ct tires, but they do not have the softer edge. They still grip really well on the edges, but if you really want to be confident at full lean, get the 2cts. These regular pilot powers are great for spirited riding and the occasional trackday. Like the 2cts, they are not good commuter tires. They get eaten up in about 4k miles. Highly recommended.

If there's one thing you can say about these Michelin Pilot Power tyres, its the level of progressive grip and feedback they give - its frankly amazing!
I run the Power 2CTs on both my K5 GSXR1000 and my K6 GSXR750 and can't find a fault with them in any way. Riding is both flat out through twisty roads and the occasional long motorway jouney. The warm-up is very quick and they even get hot in standing water when its really raining!
On the wet note, these are one of the only tyres that will go ...

AWESOME TYRES!!!!!! You cannot beat Michelin Pilot Power tyres at all. I used them on the track running fast speeds, and use them on the street for everyday commuting. I get a few days out of them on the track. I get 8,000 miles out of the rears on my 2002 zx6r, and change the front at 16,000 miles. Anyone that tells you that you only get 3,000 out of these tyres is stupid and can't stop doing burnouts at every light. Check your tyre pressures guys and you'll get fantastic mileage.

I have been using Michelin Pilot Powers on my 2000 Hayabusa for over 3 years now (35000km) and without exeption they always give exellent grip, feel and milage (up to 17000k for a rear), all my milage is lesure riding two up and the bike gets a bit of a hammering through the twisties ( have scraped the fairings on the tar).
Also run same tyres on my 04 Z1000 and have covered 15,000k so far using as a run to work bike with occasional weekend riding, I expect about 17,000k before front is borderli ...

Fast warm up in Queenland no time at all, no trouble in wet weather, excellent grip, if your bike has a smaller width rear the front and rear profiles are just about perfecly matched.
Have run the early version on CBR's and the latetest on RR's with a lot of confidence, the latest version are even better.

The tire does in fact have the "fast" warm up raved about by so many people.

I changed over from PILOT POWER RACE H2 (Hard compound comparable to a sport tire per the manufacture) and found them HIGHLY superior to the H2. I raced the H2 for a season with AFM in 05 and 06 at Infineon-T-hill-and Button Willow and the tire was O.K. But did not make me nearly that happy. When I rode the same bike (O3- TL1000R track only bike) with the PILOT POWER on, I knew right away the tire was VERY capable of ...

Michelin Pilot Power tyres are great for entry level and (so far) mid-level track day riders. I'm now a solid B group rider taking both the front and rear tires absolutely to the edge. Not a single sign of slippage so far, even in hell-hot 140 F weather at Thunderhill. These 'may' have to be replaced if I ever achieve faster corner speeds.
In the canyons they also stick like glue.
Do you want something that can last longer than 3000 miles down the center for commuting? These aren't going to cu ...

I can only give my opinion and on my GSXr 600 K4 the Michelin Pilot Power are awesome. I recommend them 100%. These tyres would only benefit fast road riders that do track days, would be wasted on anything else.

I have an '04 CBR600RR with some go fast bits. I had the stock Bridgestone tyres, then I ran a Dunlop 208 on the rear, which lasted about as long as a snowflake in hell. Its replacement was a Diablo Corsa on recommendation from a few other riders. Fortunately I grabbed a nail about 1500Km's into the Diablo's. Yes I was annoyed, but then I dropped Pilot Powers on, and I haven't looked back. They stick like nothing else I have tried, and exit speeds from corners are increased due to the confidence ...

The sharper curvature of the Michelin Pilot Power tyre, and the compound, gives it great handling properties. You can easily go from side to side without much effort. The tread pattern looks aggressive. Much better than the stock Dunlop's I had!! Made a world of difference. Handles just right in the rain, I had no problems.

    Michelin Pilot Power Tyres

I LOVE these tyres! I got them for my '05 Ducati Monster 620, as a replacement for the OEM Pirelli Diablo's I had worn out. I've noticed many very aggressive experienced riders buying these tyres and raving about them. When I first got them they were a bit scary. The reason is that they have more of a triangular shape versus the more rounded shape of the Diablo's. This means that when you turn, you tend to fall over rather than lean over. This makes you nerv ...
