    Good Points: Everything.


    Bad Points: In 86,000 miles and five years - none except fairly heavy on petrol.


    General comments: Saab 95 SE Auto Estate 1985cc SE LPT


    This car runs as well today as it did when new, five years ago. It is agile, light on the controls, and responsive. The other day I was ambling along the motorway and realised I was doing over 90, and it felt like 60 - I quickly decelerated!

    This was the top of the range model in 2000, and when it is just out of the car wash it looks just like a new car. In a potentially fatal smash 2 years ago, it got me out of trouble on black ice and ended up with only minimal damage to the rear bumper. I have looked after it very carefully, and it has repaid me well.

    I hear the 95 is to be re-vamped next month, so I will probably sell it due to that and the mileage, but I'd like to be so sure the next car will be as brilliant. I am looking at a 93, as the kids are older now. I hope I do not regret it.
