Got a quote from confused.com, was re-directed to the swift cover website to find that the prices were much higher than previously stated on the confused website
lure people in with cheap premiums then charge you for every little thing extra or charge extra to change anything on the insurance form
    website functioning poorly too

I took out Swiftcover Comprehensive insurance from a compare site. Having received the insurance documents I was asked to send the original No Claims Bonus Certificate (original from AXA for British Force Germany), which I duly did. I then received a phone call stating that I was going to be charge an additional sum as my NCB was not UK. This was strange to me as the original documents was British Force Germany which has UK status. To add insult to injury when I requested my No claim Bonus b ...

Swift cover are, I think, good value for money, easy to use, and I have had no problems with them! I recently cancelled my insurance with them as I got a new car and they could not insure me on it due to my new job... I phoned them up and had a very helpful person at the call centre, she found out why they could not insure me, cancelled it with no hassle, paid me back my remaining money straight away and were very helpful. I was very sad to go,

I used a compare web site which gave me Swift cover as the cheapest. I followed the instuctions and completed the insurance. They then emailed me saying this insurance was dependant on proof of no claims which I did not have. So they cancelled the policy but charged me £25 admin costs.
They should have made it clear before taking my money that this policy was had conditions.

After taking out a policy, I read the poor reviews and became aware that my Excess was £250 instead of £150. There are also additional charges for travelling abroad for more than three days.

I cancelled my policy before it started and was charged £25.

Beware, the website is subtely designed to hide the real cost from consumers.

Swiftcover - neither swift nor provide a good level of cover. I have a no fault ongoing claim which is now into the third month and so far no progress has been made. Customer service is totally hopeless - if you are after an insurance company that will abandon you, be unhelpful, slow, unresponsive, disinterested, with a couldn't care less attitude then I implore you to sign up for the ride.

An absolute joke, do not use Swift cover, their customer service (and i use that term loosely)is appalling and they feel as if they can take money from your bank account without contacting you over it. They do not respond to queries and trying to prove your NCd to these people is unbelieveable.

Their quotes are so cheap as they employ chimps who do not meet the criteria for the minimum wage, do not use these bandits.

Swiftcover cancelled policy while I was driving overseas, left me uninsured. Claimed they didn't receive NCB proof and overbilled me for 1 month's insurance.
Avoid as their customer service is awful.

Have an accident. Car took about a year before the repair started. But even then the work was only cosmetic.

No work was carried out on the internal structure of the car. Cheap insurance yes, but Cheap job and a dangerous one.

They use third party parts and have not problem in refurbishing your damaged part to be used again.

When confronted, Swiftcover will use any tricks, technicalities
to avoid fixing your car to standard.

If you have to go with Swiftcover, ALWAYS check the work and

Although Swiftcover initial quotation may be cheap, they are slow to respond to queries by email, expensive to call (via 0871 premium rate numbers), and they have additional charges if you need to make even a minor amendment to your policy.

Please do not touch Swiftcover Car Insurance!! I decided on swiftcover because it was simply the cheapest quote. Had an accident on the 5th july. The other driver was clearly weas at fault being in the inside lane turning right. Sent details of the accident and photos to swiftcover clearly describing that i wasnt at fault. They emailed me a week later to say that i was at fault although he turned right from the inside lane. The driver at fault admitted liability after i contacted their insurance ...

I bought a cheap car to run around in so only wanted the minimum insurance. I decided to go with swiftcover as they gave me the cheapest quote this turned out to be wrong. I sent of my certificate of no claims to these people and for some reason they found it invalid even though another insurance company found no problem with it as i have another car. They then failed to tell me that my insurance would go up because of this so started charging me 5 times the origanal qoute! I tried to get in tou ...

I have never seen this site before but when i did i decided that I would check out Swiftcover as i have a few polices with them. I was disspointed to see such negative reviews as i have only ever found them to be helpful.
My claim was handled really quickly and without any delay. I liked the online aspect and the garage who repaired my car was brilliant. 10/10!

They may be one of the cheapest but thats for the covernote. Once you make a claim you'll wish you went elsewhere. Swiftcover customer service is non-existent, I have never dealt with staff so rude and agressive. BE WARNED !!!!

Swiftcover web site is utter rubbish. Typed in details clicked 'Next' - 10 mins later details of second driver entered - NO NEXT BUTTON.
Site seems to be downloading something all the time.

NO QUOTE OBTAINED BECAUSE THE QUOTE SITE DOES NOT WORK AND HAS NOT WORKED FOR THE LAST 10 DAYS

Someone drove into my parked car whilst stationary. Luckily they stopped and were happy for a claim against their insurance. I contacted swiftcover to be told that my excess was £750. I asked them to check my policy and they said I had a compulsary excess of £250 and voluntary excess of £500 making the total excess £750. In essence, to Swiftcover, COMPULSARY and VOLUNTARY mean the same thing, which to the rest of the English speaking is totally bizarre.

I took out cover because it was cheap BIG mistake you get what you pay for. Everything is online I was away for awhile they cancelled my policy and informed me later because they claimed they had no record of receiving my ncd proof

Swiftcover cancelled the insurance which could have left me driving around without insurance unknowingly to add insult to injury they then charged me for cancellation Quite the worst insurers I have ever had in 25 years of clean motoring I have gone back to a reput ...
