I pulled across a vehicle coming the other way whilst turning in to my drive. My fault obviously! Swift Cover (AXA) obliged me on the 14 days car hire I was insured for, and paid me a reasonable price for the car via their associate company called Co Part. “RIPOFFS and No Service”

I was involved in a no blame accident, third party admitted liability, their insurers, Zenith, admitted liability but Swiftcover wanted to do it knock for knock 50/50 as it saved them work and I would only lose 3 years no claims bonus. To lazy to do their job, did not provide a replacement vehicle although it was in my policy, did the repairs and paid my excess. “Harrassment”

I rang up to complain that I had been approached by this company and requested they take me off their mailing list as my number was x directory. This is the response I recieved "why are you calling back if you want nothing to do with us?". My response was "excuse me" to which he replied "you're excused". “Dreadful company”

Please think twice before insuring with Swiftcover My wife insured her car last year with Swiftcover, when the policy was up for renewal in April 14 we changed this to LV Insurance - I personal phoned Swiftcover twice to cancel policy as they were constantly sending reminders - my wife phoned once - on receipt of the next letter I phoned again and was put through to a different dept who said everything was fine and policy was canceled etc. Just received a debt collection agency letter… Read Full Review

“Low Life Operation”

“Dash cam evidence and they still wated 50/50”

“Pretty positive experience”

I wouldn't normally bother writing one of these, but after seeing some of the reviews and having a reasonably positive (if there is such a thing) first motor insurance claim thought I'd add some balance. “Car Insurance auto-renew Kept money that should be...”

When I cancelled my policy (as they just renewed it before I could stop them) I was told they would make a full refund, I questioned if the refund would go through as they had expired card details and was told everything went through, that night I was sent an email to say the refund hadn't gone through as the details had expired, they were able to take the funds but not give them back with the details!! “Failed to notify someone had claimed against my policy”

After someone reversed into my car in a skoda swift cover failed to listen to my side of story and paid out £1200 in damages. As they failed to notify me I assumed I still had my 5 years no claims but only had four. “Not an online company ”

The renewal price was not competitive and I found a quote for over £250 cheaper very easily on a comparison site. I have had insurance with swift cover for 3 years and never made a claim. I therefore wanted to cancel my policy. You can renew your policy online, pretty much do everything else but not surprisingly you cannot cancel as easily. Within 22 days of beginning my 'experience' with shifty cover, I had been repeatedly harassed and threatened by email and posted letter about supplying my NCD proof. Having been provided with Swiftcover by Confused I went onto their website and completed the form. I know I put in one date but the print out showed another. Possibly my mistake. “total waste off time”

“extortionate fees ”

Stay away from this lot, they appear to be saving you money from the outset, but if you have an unlucky year with cars breaking down and you have to change you will be charged the earth. my costs soared by over 500 when i changed cars a couple of times due to breakdowns etc. final cancellation cost me over 180.00 despite there only being 2 months to run on the policy. in the long term these guys are not interested in helping or saving you money. “Swiftcover Car Insurance Devious and Dishonest!”

I cancelled my insurance some years ago and thirty days prior to the renewal date with Swiftcover. In essence, Swiftcover owe me about £20.00.
