The insurance is rubbish.after i had an accident they talked me in to 50/50 knowing that it wasn't my foult(they said it will be easier)they said i will lose 2yrs no claim.Its took them more than 4month to repair my car i payed my access and had to call them every day to do it..after i got my car back i got it half repaired when i asked from garage they said that insurance refused to repair it fully newer ming.then i got an email from swift about my renewal and i soo that they took a 3yrs no… Read Full Review

“Failed to notify someone had claimed against my policy”

After someone reversed into my car in a skoda swift cover failed to listen to my side of story and paid out £1200 in damages. As they failed to notify me I assumed I still had my 5 years no claims but only had four. “Dreadful service, not there when I needed them”

“Not an online company ”

The renewal price was not competitive and I found a quote for over £250 cheaper very easily on a comparison site. I have had insurance with swift cover for 3 years and never made a claim. I therefore wanted to cancel my policy. You can renew your policy online, pretty much do everything else but not surprisingly you cannot cancel as easily. “Customer harassment!”

Within 22 days of beginning my 'experience' with shifty cover, I had been repeatedly harassed and threatened by email and posted letter about supplying my NCD proof. An issue with my former insurer meant that they were actually dealing with this themselves but still demanded it from me! Unbelievable but appears to be a common theme. “My car insurance policy”

I took out my policy for my Vauxhall Zafira, to start on the 1st June 2014. I looked at my documents when they sent them in pdf format, and started to read the certificate. “Non careless attitude”

Having been provided with Swiftcover by Confused I went onto their website and completed the form. I know I put in one date but the print out showed another. Possibly my mistake. When I asked them to start the policy earlier, not backdate it just earlier, they refused. Each email I sent them asking certain questions they did not answer every question. After i was involved in a non fault accident i informed them of the situation. BIG Mistake!!! From start to finish the process was slow and painful. “total waste off time”

This company is a waste off time stay well clear they left me without any transport for over 8 weeks and wen I did get my car back parts off it was not mended so I rang the garage they told me swift cover only told them to do bits I paid my excess of £250 then they had to have the car back again so in that time u went out and bought another car as they had mine plus I've got a disabled child. “extortionate fees ”

Stay away from this lot, they appear to be saving you money from the outset, but if you have an unlucky year with cars breaking down and you have to change you will be charged the earth. my costs soared by over 500 when i changed cars a couple of times due to breakdowns etc. final cancellation cost me over 180.00 despite there only being 2 months to run on the policy. in the long term these guys are not interested in helping or saving you money. “Swiftcover Car Insurance Devious and Dishonest!”

I cancelled my insurance some years ago and thirty days prior to the renewal date with Swiftcover. In essence, Swiftcover owe me about £20.00. They adopted an aggressive policy of pursue some small print about cancelling the policy. They were seeking some £90 compensation. I have used Swiftcover, an AXA insurance company, for four years. At the beginning of December I had an accident and immediately submitted a claim. Initially Swiftcover appeared helpful, and send they would arrange for my car to be picked up and repaired. What a rip of company who have in my personal opinion no idea of honesty or integrity and I dont even insure with them. Well we did but cancelled before inception of the policy They suggest like other competitors driving abroad cover in big and bold is included but it may as well not be. They give you buried in the small print only three days whereas many others give you 30 or 60 or so on. 30 days being a minimum. They argue that 3 days cover is driving abroad cover. “Car write off, dealt with surprisingly well”

“not to be trusted ”

Car insurance is just away to rip off the motorist by law and make profit for shareholders. “Better than I thought”
