    Good Points: Drives great and is quite comfortable for 4 passengers and has a good spec. Excellent value for money.


    Bad Points: Not that economical, and a bit cheap and nasty plastic inside.Boot opening is narrow.


    General comments: I had bought a Vauxhall Astra 1.8 SRI from new and its been very reliable and vauxhall have been very good for parts and service

    I am 22, and in my four years of driving I have drove a lot of cars, nothing that I have been in has the best deal for the price, obivously you can get bigger and better but it come with a cost, but you get a lot for what you pay for in this car.

    I had this Vauxhall Astra for one month, I stuck it out for that long hoping it would grow on me, why I bought it I don't know even to this day. It's a very cheap and nasty car that is slapped with a horrible plastic interior you get what you pay for. The model I purchased was an 1.8 Sri and I traded in my 52 plate VW Passat 1.9tri sport estate for it as I wanted to down grade in size but I wanted to keep the sportiness, and I must have been mad, unimpressed by this I took it back to the dealers ...

    The new Astra 1.8 SRI Sport is a brill car that dont cost the earth and drives as good as it looks.Well done Vauxhall you have come a long way since my last 1995 model which was errr rubbish.
