    went to ring of roses thought they had a fair choice of dresses the lady that helped us to try on was very nice .the bigest complaint is if you need to go to the loo wich is highly likely if you have travelled you cant use the loo .apparentley for health and safety reasons.maybe they thought i was going to do hand stands in there or something not sure .ring of roses in blackfen who are owned by same company were happy to let you use loo.you are told you have to go over to the cafe over the road and buy a coffe and use the loo and come back,but if you do that and bring back a coffe you are told you cant drink it as they dont allow drinks!!! so they have it instead. wont go back and order dress there wich is a shame as the lady helping to try on was very nice others seemed to take great delight in not letting you use the loo.if you have s stong bladder then you will be ok.

    The first fitting at Ring O' Roses, Sydenham a few weeks later was a different experience. I did feel pressured to hurry up, and the staff who took my balance payment seemed unhelpful and rather rude to me. I had no feeling of 'you're the customer - who has just paid £1000 for a dress by the way - and we appreciate your custom'.

    My conclusion (also watching the experience of other brides in the shop) is that I think your experience will depend entirely on the person who serves you. If ...

    Having read comments on here prior to visiting Ring o'Roses Sydenham, I was hesitant to return, but they do have a good selection of gowns.
    Upon my second visit, I asked if I could use the toilet and was informed that customers were not allowed to use it, due to health and safety regulations.
    Once handing over a deposit for my dress I was given ring o' roses terms and conditions and was informed to sign it. From here I thought the attitude of the staff seemed to change and I felt like a nui ...

    I went to Ring O' Roses today (28/06/08) after calling last week to be able to try the sample dress of the one that I bought. When I got there the sample dress had been sold and I was informed I should have called first (which I did!!). They had no picture of my dress and I was not allowed to take a picture of myself in a similar one either. A Sales Advisor suggested I go to their Sidcup branch! (I live in Luton, Buckinghamshire and just spent 2hr in public transport getting to the Sydenham Bran ...

    I had a wonderful experience this week at the Ring o Roses bridal shop. They were so pleasant and the girl really knew her stuff with regards to the dresses. I went in wanting a hippyish flowers in hair and no shoes kind of wedding dress and came out with a gorgeous and intricately beaded glamorous dress...and veil.....and tiara!!! All suggested by her and totally amazing on....she was an absolute delight and i trusted her completely....the shop itself is spacious and bright. lovely.

    I had always imagined shopping for a wedding dress as a fun and exciting experience but I didn't find that here. If you are looking for a large selection of low-cost dresses then you should find something (most of the ones I saw appeared to be between £400 - £1,000
    I called the shop to let them know I would be 15 mins late and was informed this would be deducted from my allocated slot. Apparently this is 1 hour, even though I had not been told this over the phone when making the app ...

    My daughter's wedding was a wonderful experience and she looked truly beautiful. With all eyes on the bride, choosing the right dress has to be one of the most stressful things in the wedding preparations. I can honestly say that the Ring O'Roses staff helped us select the perfect dress for the occasion, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house when she walked down the aisle... :-)

    My 'now' wife visited Ring O' Roses and purchased her bridal dress from there and I have to say they were absolutely marvellous with her. I find it astonishing to read that 'Some people' have had bad experiences with them as my wife could not praise them enough. The staff offered some invaluable advice, were extremely attentive.


    Keep up the good work girls - it is appreciated.

    Having been to several wedding dress shops over the last 7 months, looking for a wedding dress, I was astounded at the wonderful service I received at Ring O' Roses in Sydenahm.

    They were consistent, attentive, and the most astounding of all is they actually had great knowledge in what they were selling, which is something I found lacking in previous shops.

    They were immensely patient, welcoming, and above all, they made, what has previously been a very stressful situation, seem a pleasur ...

    I recently ordered my wedding dress from Ring O'Roses in Sydenham for my wedding next year. The girls were most helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.

    This was the sixth shop I had visited, including 3 in Knightsbridge, and the service I received at Ring O'Roses was exemplary. Indeed, I was so impressed that I have recommended the shop to 3 of my closest friends.

    I guess they have a reasonable selection, and it is good to see what styles they have, but I would not recommend Ring O Roses.

    On my second visit to the shop, the staff were very unfriendly - once I'd parted with some cash. When I turned up to try on some shoes, with the sample wedding dress, they raised their voices because this was my second appointment. They had allowed me to make this appointment, which apparently they shouldn't have done (only allowed one shoe fitting).

    I still have to send the store pictures of my wedding day.

    But I would just like to thank them for their assistance, advice, patience and understanding. They did a great job and other than a few hiccups, they were mavellous.

    I have recommended them to friends and family, who have been happy with the service they have had.

    I wish that they would bring back the first Sales Assistant I saw, as she was absolutely marvellous.

    I also had the worst experience at that branch, the staff you have there are rude and the dresses are dirty and smelly. They wasted time then they started rushing me. I wanted to cry they forced dresses on me not listening to my view of what I want. I hate that branch I would never recommended anyone to go to that branch. They should change the staff there.

    I had the most horrible experience at Ring of Roses, Sydenham, London, wedding dress shop. To cut a very long story short I was forced to leave the shop with my wedding dress looking like I had huge bulges growing out of my side and rear, the whole dress looking absolutely terrible and nothing like the sample dress I ordered.
