“Simply Great Flavor ”

Written on: 29/01/2015 by BrendanVigil97 (5 reviews written)

Cadbury Roses are among the rare chocolate mixes you should definitely try! There are green, red, purple and blue colors to pick from. Don’t ignore a particular color and just try everything! I just love the flavor of these mixes and would definitely buy them again. I have also given some as a gift and their reaction was the same. They loved the chocolates! Cadbury Roses are definitely recommended to anyone who wants something new to try. … Read Full Review

“Good! Love it! ”

Written on: 26/01/2015 by CaidenBledsoe57 (3 reviews written)

I was looking for a new flavor and found Cadbury Roses. I decided to give it a try and my kids love it! Now, I am not really fond of chocolates, but the flavor of Cadbury Roses was just right for me. Not everyone has the same taste, so I guess that’s what the negative reviews are all about. For me, though, it was fine. The price was good, so I would buy it again. … Read Full Review

I am used to baking cakes and love placing some embellishment to my creations. I just can’t find the perfect piece for producing a romantic cake until I found these wonderful Cadbury Roses chocolates. They have become a perfect decoration to my cakes and I was able to offer them to my loved ones during special occasions. When I’m asked if I will recommend it, I would say yes, definitely! … Read Full Review

“I Love The Sweets!”

Written on: 20/01/2015 by GregoryRichards65 (4 reviews written)

The perfectly blended ingredients of these Cadbury Roses chocolates have allowed it to be a perfect product for me. The beautiful packaging is just an addition to its cost efficiency. Some of the great ingredients include milk, sugar, cocoa butter, vegetable fats, fat-reduced cocoa, cocoa mass dried whey, dried skimmed milk and a lot more! The whole production of this product makes it a recommended decorative chocolate for everyone!… Read Full Review

“Awful ‘taste’”

Written on: 19/01/2015 by RafaelMorris48 (4 reviews written)

Though the price is low, the quality definitely is not worth the price. Chocolates tasted something that you do not expect from a chocolate. I would never go for Cadbury Roses again… Read Full Review

“Perfect Birthday Present!”

Written on: 15/01/2015 by GaryBrower57 (5 reviews written)

With vibrantly wrapped Cadbury Roses chocolates, I was able to surprise my girlfriend on her birthday. She really loved it, not just its look, but also its great taste. The rose chocolates were wrapped in unique blue packs and have become a conventional favorite in boxed and assortments chocolates. However, even with many competitors in the market, I will surely pick this one from Cadbury over and over again. With my great experience with this product, I will certainly recommend it to my… Read Full Review

Please bring back the old company owners who knew what they were doing with Cadbury... they used to be worth the money..now they are horrid, they don't taste like dairy milk at all and they have taken all the good sweets out and replaced them with rubbish. Not worth the money and the quality is disgusting.. Sort it out Cadbury.. your doing a very good job at running Cadbury into the ground.. if it's lack of sales your after to shut down the factory congratulations your not far off achieving… Read Full Review

“Good competition for Nestle”

Written on: 31/12/2014 by MrNestle (1 review written)

Well done Cadbury you are now able to compete with Nestle who also destroyed the Rowntree Makintosh brand. Your Roses definately do not have the same chocolate as your Dairy Milk the coating taste like...................well nothing! I really have thrown the whole tub in the bin they are that bad. This represents very bad value for such a poor quality product… Read Full Review

You have done one review, and your profile name is rather vulgar. Are you sure you're not Nestle?! Would love to see all those chocolates in your bin

Work for Nestle?....absolutely not even Nestle chocolate has gone down hill over the years as stated in my review and as far as my profile being vulgar it was done as tongue in cheek and not to offend anyone.
What are your thoughts on the taste of Roses?
The only vulgar thing was the Cadburys Roses.

“YUK!”

Written on: 26/12/2014

What on earth have they done to what used to be lovely chocolates? These nasty-tasting things are nothing like Roses used to be, in fact they're quite disgusting. No matter which flavour I tried it made no difference, they all tasted equally vile. The chocolate is nothing like it used to be and the fillings are ... oh, I don't know how to explain it properly ... they're just sickly and bland at the same time. It was like eating some horrible mixture that you didn't enjoy having in your mouth… Read Full Review

Was looking forward to a box of Roses for Christmas but have they done to them? Terrible quality now nothing like the old Roses, cheap wrappers, cheap quality moulding and taste revolting and sickly sweet, can almost feel your teeth rotting as you eat them. “Management ruined roses!”

Written on: 22/12/2014 by Tyrell154 (1 review written)

Another example of the dreaded bean counters running today's big companies. They have no vision in such things as quality , customer retention, loyalty and the future of growing the business based on solid foundations. How these faceless executive have just run down what was a cornerstone irish company. I received a box of roses today and was disgusted to find many of the popular sweets including removing all the toffee sweets. My friend that bought that tin of Roses was conned by your company… Read Full Review

“Disgusting...Nothing Like Original Roses”

Written on: 11/12/2014 by JennyoftheCotwolds (1 review written)

I felt really disappointed as I could tell straight away that these Roses where not Roses at all but some cheap chocolate sweets.

I will never buy Roses again and will seek to get my money back as whoever owns Cadburys are trading on the name only. Such a shame that our traditional confectionery are being overtaken by companies out to make money.

Mal5Smith's Response to JennyoftheCotwolds's Review

I think the company is owned by the Americans now unfortunately. They've recently changed the chocolate on the creme eggs now and people are complaining about that. It's a shame but do what I do, don't buy the rubbish anymore and make sure you comment on their Facebook page so everyone can see it.

“Disgusting ”

Written on: 19/05/2014 by fommy100 (2 reviews written)

After having lived in the US for many years, I was put off chocolate. If you have ever had the misfortune to taste a Hershey bar and not puke up afterwards your very lucky.

So you can imagine my horror, after dreaming about Cadburys chocolate for 12 months, I get home and run to get a Crunchie and a Flake, after dreaming about creamy chocolate, to my shock and horror I spat out the chocolate and threw it in a rubbish bin, it was so disgusting. It was like eating American chocolate.

There's nothing wrong with my taste buds, I've been eating chocolate for 30 years, its one of my favourite foods. Its a shame Cadbury's have started to use cheap fillers to cut costs in there production lines.

While they have done a very good job in trying to get the taste the same at a lower production cost.

It does not taste the same, my memory's of Cadbury's chocolate, was of quality and taste. I lived in Texas for 13 years, and have just moved back, for example if you taste a kit Kat in the USA you can tell they use cheap filler chocolate on them, when you come to the UK, the texture and taste of the chocolate is different.

That's the point!

I am making! But who I am I? Perhaps one of the general public who vote with their feet.
