Bad Points: The website provides no simple way to obtain a renewal quote - you have to enter all details of vehicle, claims, etc as if it was a brand new policy. They will not offer me "protected" No Claims Discount. Also, they only quote my NCD as "five or more years", which is not good when 11 months ago my previous insurer said I had 9 years. The home-printed insurance certificate has raised some eyebrows. A friend was refused a tax disc as the PO clerk didn't believe his was real - I had no such problems as I bought my tax disc online.

General comments: Easy to buy. Cheap. Very cheap. Easy to use website. Insurance certificate immediately available (as a PDF). Answered a couple of queries promptly by email. No experience of their claims handling efficiency.

I have taken up a policy with Swift Cover and unfortunately had to make a claim last week. I must say that the service offered when I called to register the claim was fantastic, and my car is already in the garage and nearly fixed. The hire car was a great investment - cheap as chips and a rather nippy little thing! Fun! All in all, a not so pleasant experience, made much better by decent customer service and friendly accesible staff.

I have not come across such poor company in years. This also includes swiftcover' "senior" (???) management who was unable to understand and handle very simple issue. I'm glad I cancelled my insurance and moved elsewhere.

Our data on the site was all incorrect, very alarming. WE got the blame! It was corrected by someone (after a massive attempt to speak to a person) and it was ans still is wrong on the site. Our payment was never taken for our cover when it should have been, weeks later it transpired the card information was wrong too, and we hadn't paid, so we did, then they cancelled the insurance and only re-paid us the difference! I would insist that, in the event of an accident they would not have cover ...

I looked around and cover looks much the same whoever you buy it from but Swift were £40 cheaper than my previous insurer (Post Office) and their website is really easy to use. I called their help line with a question andgot straight through and was pleased to hear that it's in the UK. I would definitely recommend.

Bought the insurance on the web site. It was easy user friendly and easy to purchase. Any queries I had were answered directly on the website. None, although I did not have to claim. This is the third policy I have purchase over the last two years and I have never had a problem.

You get what you pay for. I just hope I don't have put a claim in this next year - their administration systems and procedures are appalling. I was with Privilege Insurance and only switched because of the cheaper quote. Mistake. Hopefully swiftcover will tarnish AXA's generally good reputation to such an extent, the parent company will step in an sort out this online mess.

Where do I start. I got Swiftcover cover as it covered missed departures, but when I tried to claim after being held up in motorway traffic for over three hours I was told that I could not claim, as I was not in an accident myself! I had to then pay over £300 for another flight. They have unfortunately been consistently unhelpful, bordering on rude, and I would not recommend them. It is sad as they are very reasonable priced, but in my case there is a reason for it.

Having compared the alternatives they were the cheapest on a like for like basis of any insurer. The buying process is simple and I actually did call their help team just to check what their service was like and got through without a delay. The girl I spoke to was very helpful and friendly and UK based. Couldn't recommend more!

The price and level of cover is good with Swiftcover travel insurance. Not only was it the cheapest I could find, but it covered me for everything I needed, and a lot more. Oh, and the website was quick and easy to use too. If you're going backpacking, then definitely check them out. My insurance was only £115 for the year! I had other quotes of over £200 for the same cover. I will definitely use them again next time.

Swiftcover offered annual worldwide travel insurance cover for the lowest amount I could find. The website was quick and easy to use too. I claimed for a stolen MP3 player, and I had no problems getting a replacement from them. I would have liked the opportunity to speak to someone if I wanted it. I am more than happy to deal with anything via the Internet, but it is reassuring to know that there is someone at the other end of a line if I need them. Cheap cover, especially as the annua ...

I bought an annual travel insurance policy for my wife and family for £42 from Swiftcover! The website was very simple to use, and I bought the policy in under 3 minutes, so I guess you could say the site was quick!

I have nothing but good things to say about Swiftcover, during a recent trip to Spain I came down with food poisoning and the claim process was fast and friendly and hassle free. I would recommend them to anyone

I needed last minute insurance for a weekend break. I found the Swiftcover travel insurance web site and checked their price with the likes of Insure and Go. I couldn't fault it. I printed the documents off there and then, and off I went!

I am just about to embark on my voyage abroad during my gap year, and I have been trawling through many sites looking for cheap travel insurance. Now that I have to fund this myself i am of course looking for a cheap competitive quote. I found that Swiftcover came up with the best quote when I was looking. So after much deliberation I decided to go with them. It was really easy to get through to the quote and pay for the policy. All of the documents are kept on-line so there is no extra post. ...
