I am very pleased with the outcome but there was a glitch. I received an email the day after ordering over the telephone, telling me that they had found that they did not have stock for the washer drier. They did, however, have a substitute machine, which was £21 cheaper. Delivery was a day later than was originally agreed, but I am.very pleased with the substitute machine and £21 better off. I ordered a TV stand from Sonic Direct about 6 weeks ago. The absurdity of what happened next is mind blowing. I got the wrong item in colour and design, and also got half of the wrong item. 50% was missing. I spent two weeks dealing with the inefficient and condescending customer services to get the item returned. Sonic had this TV on sale for a lot less than any other company, phoned up late Friday to order and spoke to a very helpful person who even sorted out a different courier company for me as their usual company was parcel farce and i wouldn`t trust them with an old boot never mind a flat screen TV.The TV was delivered on the Tuesday by sonics own delivery service. I Ordered the Dyson DC44 on Saturday, was delivered on Tuesday and was a lot cheaper than all the other electrical stores, very happy with my purchase. Haven't yet tried the goods as they are in a house we are waiting to move into. However, the service and efficiency we received from Sonic Direct could not be faulted. Unfortunately, they only delivered in my area 2 days a week (contrary to what they said on their website) so organising delivery around work commitments was extremely awkward. I booked in a slot in advance which was then cancelled due to 'unforseen cirmcumstances', I booked in another slot further in advanced which I thought I'd check two days ahead to make sure it was still coming... they forgot to dispatch... Dear Sonic Direct,
As you know, I have submitted a copy of the invoice and further details with this review to reviewcentre.com after you contested my review. It has been well over a month since I asked on 2 seperate occassions for someone to get in touch with me about the issues, giving your team plenty of opportunity to get back to me.
When I phoned, I was repeatedly told there was nothing you could do and asking to speak to a manager would be "pointless", when I said that I wasn't happy with the service, I was told "I'm just trying to manage your expectations".
Can I suggest you simply look at my user name and your records for orders placed at the end of October 2012 if you were serious about resolving the mistakes of your colleagues, I will be more than happy to have my opinion of Sonic Direct improved.

I'm having an horrible experience with this company since day one to start with an arrogante custumer service from who I bough a washer dryer which been faulty as was not working properly. Their phone rings for long before anyone answer. Machine has been picked with with lots of hassle due to bad communication. Our records indicate that on arrival, you reported your washer dryer as being faulty. We arranged for an engineer to call to repair the problem but you declined this course of action and requested a refund. We duly agreed to collect the unit and, on upon return, refund your payment in full. I would apologise for the delay in the collection of your product. Having looked into the matter with our carriers it would appear that our collection request was not acted upon due to a technical issue with their IT system following some recent internal changes. As I now understand, your unit has been duly collected and we have now refunded in full your payment as requested. Whilst I agree that due to circumstances outside of our reasonable control it has taken a little longer than normal for your unit to be collected, I would hope that my explanation goes some way to restoring your confidence in our organisation.

I bought an american fridge freezer it was cheaper than currys and comet by some way.
I recieved pretty good customer from the sales lady who seemed to be a little rushed of her feet.
As for the delivery it arrived 2 days after purchase as was planned the delivery guys were exceptional they spent the best part of an hour removing doors off the fridge etc... and been careful not to cause any damage
Top notch service.
Would definatly buy again!

They had publicised great prices and a few good offers in the local paper so when the shop opened at 9am there were over 200 very upset people waiting outside. Number one; they didn't open the doors until 9.15am. Number two: they let in very small amounts of people at a time so people standing around for over an hour waiting to get in.
