Good Points: Ubiquitous; you can find it anywhere. Nice and fruity, not just a hot taste. Other ingredients can be added to it eg yoghurt or tomato paste, if you require a milder curry.
Bad Points: Seems to have an awful lot of oil in it.
General comments: Cooked meat or vegetables can be added to Pataks Madras Curry Paste, or uncooked meat can be left to simmer. A reliable sauce that I always eventually come back to.

A really quick way to make an excellent curry. The list of things you can add it too is endless.
A boring chicken casserole, or a pan of minced beef, soon become a speciality meal. If you're brave, you can add a few teaspoons, cook for five minutes, and enyoy, with an ice cold lager! After opening, it keeps for ages in the fridge.
