Good Points: Cheapest club I know of. Good facilities. Open 24/7

Bad Points: Not really sure of any.

General comments: There's plenty of different disciplines to shoot from 10 yards up to 55 yards. There's also a total of 16 firing points all under cover and heated, they also have a couple of club rooms and kitchen and toilet facilities. Apparently they now have a website. www.aireborough.org.uk

Tony is the bloke to talk to. The club is open from 19.30 on Monday and Wednesday nights. It is also open on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings. I have just joined and hope to learn more about rimfire shooting.

Well thanks firstly to stemc`s advice & help,
I went along to Aireborough AWS Leeds & found it to be very friendly & helpful, they even give you the choice to "buy before you purchase" so to speak. The owner seemed like a genuine kind of bloke who was only to willing to help.
I`ll be going along again on Monday for an hour or two and wont be hesitating in joining.

Tried to contact a range officer or club member, at Aireborough, Rawdon, tried to join, who do you see? I've visited their ranges several times with no joy, or any one available, no contact info around site. I'm giving up, a pity really looks like a good spot. Oh well,so, I've been to Baildon (Pistol & Rifle club fantastic helpful guys, friendly members, great ranges, reasonable fees. So I joined there

Aireborough is a friendly club run by Tony who is very approachable and has years of experience in air and rimfire shooting. Newcomers are welcome and can try before they join or even buy their own weapon. Membership is currently £35 Jan to Jan which gives you 24/7 access with your own key but you will need to have a person with you for safety. Club nights are Mon and Wed 7pm to 10pm. The club is located on the A6120 ring road in Leeds, near the junction of A65 and A6120. There are 3 outdo ...
