Good Points: records DVD-RAM (DVD VR),DVD-R/-RW, PAL progressive scan, divx play support with subtitles, and central european characters, plays DVD-Video -R/RW, CD-R/-RW, VCD 2.0, SVCD, mp3, JPEG, DTS digital out (coax/SPDIF), front DV-IN. Very clear and smooth video play, 2 x SCART 1 in and 1 out, without noise (video/audio). DVD-RAM forward quick play, is smooth in comparison e.g. JVC DRM10 (where it is OK), but here better. Time recording present.
Bad Points: Time Shift function not present!!! I assumed it would be there. DVD-R with divx files and subtitles played without problem, only quick forward /backward is not smooth, like I have had in other brands.
General comments: Fancy combination of DVD-RAM, DVD recorder and divx CD/DVD player, with subtitle support, srt,sub,smi, and foreign language support.
Price 220-250 euro here in Wien (Promarkt, MediaMarkt).
