I have mounted 2 different scopes on this rifle and cannot keep the scope from moving. The mounting brackets work themselves loose from vibration. I am thinking about JB welding the scope in place because an allen screw can't be tightened repeatedly without stripping it out. I would return this rifle if only I could find my receipt.

The Daisy Winchester 1000 is good, it's good accuracy and precision, and it is really powerful. I don't know about the trigger, but i have no problem hitting small targets 50-60 meters, and it's really cheap although it is pretty heavy so it's not recommended for kids.

Dont know what you are all complaining about. You guys obviously dont know how to sight your scope or you dont no how to shoot. The trigger is a bit hard but get used to it! As far as accuracy is concerned I have grouped shots to with an inch ofe ach other (20) from 30 meters

Poor shooting, very loud. The trigger pull is so hard it's hard to stay on target (even with the scope). The Daisy Winchester 1000 looks really cool but is also really loud. I dont think its that accurate either.

All and all I love mine at first i thought it was inaccutate but it was the trigger easy fix. Other than problems with the trigger i found the Daisy Winchester 1000 to be well built and sturdy.

P.O.S. This gun never shot a decent group since the day I pulled it out of the box. Tried 14 different types of ammo and have had zero luck. Accuracy is good out only to about 15 feet than forget it. don't waste your money, you would have better luck throwing rocks at varmints and pests then buying the Winchester 1000.

Daisy Winchester 1000 - A very powerful air rifle for the money!! with a little modification you can make it a very nice gun to shoot. I recommend doing the trigger rework and a daisy powerline 3X-9X scope you can get them for about $28.00 at walmart.

My Daisy Winchester 1000 seems to like very heavy pellets, and also Beeman model 1120 Red wadcutters. Other pellets are just not accurate. Maybe I just have not found the right pellet yet. Been unable to get good accuracy even on a bench rest. I think mostly due to the lousy trigger. Maybe other examples do not share the lousy trigger disease that mine is afflicted with. Have contacted Daisy without any response.

Daisy Winchester 1000 is very nice for the price. You could not ask for more considering the price. About $100.00. Sleek looks with solid construction. Very powerful! My first shot went right through the garage door.

The Daisy Winchester 1000 air rifle is good for shooting small animals, and it has great accuracy, but not recommended for young first time shooters.

I have had the Winchester Daisy 1000 for several months(1000+ shots) It is a good value for the price. the rifle has good velocity, but you must take care to steady the gun while pulling the trigger.

I found the trigger to be very stiff and the gun recoils harshly which can affect your shot. The rifle is comfortable and easy to operate. All in all a great value for field hunting and an entry level 1000 fps rifle.
