    the food at the chihuahuas was vile the party of 8 of us who went there on the 13/10/09 until 23/10/09 were vomiting violently for 5 days and the spanish doctor who had to attend my room to give an injection to my daughter said it was due to all the flies that were sworming the food i have never seen as many flies in one place all the food was uncovered for 2 hours before the restraunt was opening , disgusting, vile, horrid, the only thing that was good about this hotel was the fact that we were returning home to good old trusty uk, so be aware people do not take any chances with this hotel

    just returned from this hotel complex.sol mastines,sol chihuahuas and hotel balmoral.Tended to use Balmoral for sunbathing as sunbeds were scarce at ours.Hotel was dated,but was lovely and clean.the hotel location was simply stunning with plenty coastal walks and only 10mins to centre where there was something for everyone.Bus stop at your door to all locations,also little train to resort centre.we went Half Board and upgraded to have unlimited drinks with meals,which was a great idea,as the que ...

    fantastic location,great food,friendly staff.
    will be going back for sure,stayed in the mastines but used all 3 hotels.

    Dissapointed, third time at this hotel (Calas De Mallorca, Sol Mastines Chihuahuas) Everything has gone down hill. Rooms and the whole hotel is very dated.

    We have been before first time approx 6 years ago really enjoyed couldn't really fault anything then. But on going back found some of the reception staff unhelpful verging on rude. The entertainment staff although wonderful and got on really well with them, most had just started therefore the evening shows where not that good and there didn't seem to be as much audience participation. I'm sure by now they have perfected the shows and are brilliant by now.

    The other Hotel looked much better and local buses served both hotels and it was easy to
    get to other resorts like Cala Millor, Cala Dor, SA Como, Porto Cristo


    IF I ever returned it would need to be the other hotel which looked more superior.

    We arrived at Sol Mastines in late hours of the night, went to reception to check in and found that they had no booking for us, even though we had paid 1,800 pound for a week there. The deputy manager that dealt with us I felt was rude and said it was not their problem that they hadn't received a booking for us and told us to sleep outside the hotel.

    Inside the hotel it was extremely dated, you felt like you were walking into either the 70's or 80's. This was my first time in this resort on M ...

    Overall, it was an excellent stay. We were a bit disappointed with the location of the complex, as it was on a rocky cove with no beach. Although we did find one a 5 minute walk away down about 200 steps! It's worth it, but it was lovely to find a nice quiet spot in the hotel complex too! The small town had a poor selection of shops and restaurants. A train (carriage pulled by a tractor) takes you around the local areas for a small charge.     We stayed in the Chihuahuas and it was the best holiday I have had our 3 kids had a great time and so did we there is plenty to do here activity clubs for ages 0-adult we had a good laugh at them entertainment staff are brilliant with the kids (mini disco every night) there is some sort of show on every night which we enjoyed, food is fantastic amazing selection of things at breakfast evening meal just as good there is also a small town centre about 5-10 min walk from hotel with loads of shops a ...

    Sol Mastines Chihuahuas was excellent value for money stayed for 2 weeks friendly helpful staff always clean and fresh. Plenty to do 3 pools including childrens pool.

    The people and staff around the Sol Mastines Chihuahuasare amazing, you can choose what type of holiday you have, too suit your mood, you could take part in the activities for all ages or you could lay around on your sunbed all day, there are in total 4 bars (including a snack bar, so you don't have 2 walk far for lunch, yay).

    I spent alot of my time in the sports area and games room, (yes and the bars).
